This allows you to directly adjust the system to precisely how aggressive you want your exhaust system to sound. If you prefer a modest, stock-like sound, opt to keep the valves closed. Simply open the valves if you wish to maximize both the sound and performance output of your car’s exhaust system.

Chevrolet Camaro SS on the Dyno with Borla S-Type Exhaust

Our good friends in Colombia just ran this Chevrolet Camaro SS on the dyno, fully equipped with the brand-new Borla S-Type Exhaust. This muscle car sounds like a beast and performs like one too. BORLA’s Camaro catback exhaust is led by an aggressive high-performance “S” type system (PN:140280) that utilizes patented XR-1 technology from BORLA exhausts used in race-winning Corvettes and other GM champions. Akrapovic Exhaust Systems for the Chevrolet Corvette C6 and C7

The Akrapovic company was founded in Slovenia a quarter century ago by former motorcycle racer Igor Akrapovic. Since then, the brand has grown to international prominence through its successful support of leading motorsport teams. One hundred world champions in both two- and four-wheel motorsports have achieved success using Akrapovic’s performance systems. Currently in stock are the Akrapovic exhaust systems for the Chevrolet Corvette C6 Z06/ZR1 and C7 Stingray/Z06 models.

Chevrolet Corvette C6 Z06/ZR1

The stainless-steel slip-on line systems for the Chevrolet C6 replace the stock exhaust from the center link pipes, back. The weight difference between the Akrapovic slip-on mufflers and the stock system is approximately 9lbs. Akrapovic’s slip-on line systems increase the power and torque of the Corvette V8 engine, while improving throttle response, all achieved without removing the catalytic converters. Finally, the most dramatic improvement is in the sound: the slip-on line exhaust gives the C6 a much deeper and throatier growl. The Akrapovic Sound Kit is also available as an option; it allows for full control of the dual-mode valves. Be sure to complete the look with a set of exquisite 115mm or larger 125mm tailpipes in either titanium or carbon fiber.

Chevrolet Corvette C7 Stingray/Z06

The Akrapovic evolution line system for the Chevrolet Corvette C7 takes exhaust tuning to the next level. Featuring mufflers and link-pipes made from high-grade titanium to dramatically reduce the overall weight, the system provides more power, lowers back pressure and increases torque. With four valves, the first pair operates in four-cylinder mode and the second set comes into action following the driver’s specifications. With an electronic device developed by Akrapovic engineers for the five standard GM modes—Weather, Eco, Tour, Sport and Track, the system is perfectly matched to operate with the car’s drive mode selector. This produces an even greater range of options for the driver to fully experience the amazing sound of the car.

Ford Focus ST with Agency Power with Stainless Steel Catback Exhaust

Agency Power has taken the Ford Focus ST exhaust to a new level with their completely stainless steel catback for the new turbocharged vehicle. Utilizing CNC machined flanges, existing hanger points, TIG welding, slip fits for easy installation, and a modulare approach to the stock or aftermarket downpipe, they’ve simply nailed it.

This exhaust system features 1 large center muffler to keep the tone just right for those that that wish to cruise the highway and still have their ST sounding beastly! The tip of the iceberg with this exhaust system is its optional titanium tips that utilize a V-band camp design. Agency Power offers the tips in a traditional 4-inch dual setup, 4-inch split V design, and a triple tip with 2.75-inch tips filling the entire bumper outlet.
