HPS Releases "11-"13 Infiniti M56 Silicone Intake Hoses

HPS Performance Products is proud to announce the release of their new hose kits and intake kits for the ’11-’13 Infiniti M56. These silicone intake hoses are available in red, black and blue, and fit the M56 5.6L V8. It replaces the stock OEM restrictive air intake hose and will not trigger the check engine light. Other benefits include improved air flow, no necessary tuning and reduced heat soak. The HPS silicone intake hose kit delivers dyno-proven performance gains of +9.5 Whp and +5.3 ft/lbs of torque without any re-tuning.

Magnuson Presents the Hammer TVS2300 Supercharger System

Magnuson’s new Hammer Supercharger System is now available for the the 2007-2015 Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG (W204) coupe, sedan and wagon. This is Eaton’s latest Twin Vortices Series (TVS) supercharger unit, called the TVS2300. At around 7 psi, the Hammer Supercharger System adds more than 120hp to the wheels, and with CARB certification pending. The OEM look of the system is a first for this type of platform, allowing for larger dual-charger air coolers, a larger plenum and tapered runners. The Hammer TVS2300 supercharger unit is quiet, compact, attractive, simple to install, and requires little to no maintenance at all (to the unit itself). Additional Notes from Manufacturer: 

Since the supercharger does not compress air as it moves through the rotors, it’s extremely efficient during light throttle and cruising situations. Unlike screw-type positive displacement superchargers that are always compressing, the TVS unit can internally bypass unwanted air, resulting in negligible parasitic loss during cruising and therefore far greater fuel economy.

The single cast unit and appropriately sized rotating group eliminates potential leak points and allows for a slim, compact design without sacrificing key airflow design characteristics. The unit features a high velocity flow path through the supercharger rotors and an unrestricted discharge port into the appropriately sized plenum. The large plenum equalizes flow across all ports as air feeds evenly through the low-pressure-drop, dual internal air-to-water charge air coolers. Finally, the ports are separated into individual runners, offering greater operation by eliminating cross-fire.

Diesel Tuning on BMW 335D Out Torques 335I Turbo

We have done are fair share of N54 BMW 335I ECU tuning, but the unknown child of performance is BMW’s 335D for Diesel.  The turbo diesel power has huge gains much like our Volkswagen Touareg TDI flash did.  Diesel cars benefit extremely well from a ECU flash and this 335d proved it on our Mustang Dyno. Diesel Tuning on BMW 335D Out Torques 335I Turbo

I guess that the 300 horsepower that a stock Subaru STI comes with just is not good enough for some. Â That is why these guys built their STI to be almost 4 times the stock power! Â Working with Performance Specialist Josh here at Vivid Racing, Eduardo equipped his Subaru with nothing but the best in performance parts. Â Starting with the power, the engine was built with Brian Crower cams, ARP head studs, Darton sleeves, Wossner pistons, and Carrillo rods. Â Powered by a Full Race twin scroll turbo kit, the massive Garrett GTX-4508R turbocharger pushes boost to the engine. Â Providing enough fuel with Injector Dynamics 2000cc injectors and a Aeromotive triple fuel pump, the entire power is controlled from a Link Electro standalone ECU system. Â With some other extras including a Cosworth oil pump and head gaskets, Eduardo is also using upgraded Okada project coilpacks for improved spark. Â The power is put to the ground via a Exedy triple plate clutch kit. Â If you don’t look good, your still slow, so he has improved the stance with a set of JRZ Coilovers and Advan RZ-DF wheels.
