BBS Presents New Inventory and FI-R Wheel Applications for Exotics

BBS is happy to announce the addition of new applications to their FI-R wheel lineup. The new application will fit the Lamborghini Huracan and Gallardo, as well as the Audi R8. It is also believed that the wheels will fit the McLaren Mc12; however, BBS has no confirmation of that as of yet. New information regarding this application will be released once they have been test fitted on the car.

The FI-R series wheel features minimum mass and maximum stability. They are lightweight, aesthetically appealing and durable. BBS has two sets of FI-R wheels coming in in platinum silver within the next two weeks. They have already received a set in satin black that will be used for content generation. Additional sets will follow in 30-60 days.

Ferrari Scuderia Spider on Titanium BBS FI Forged Wheels

One of our customers recently purchased and installed titanium BBS FI Forged wheels on his beautiful Ferrari Scuderia Spider. He reached back out to us saying, “Wheels are installed and the car looks great!” He chose a fitment of 19×8.75 5×108 18mm in the front and 19×11.25 5×108 23mm in the rear. Subaru BRZ Brembo Kit Modified to a Honda Fit with BBS Wheels

We had a customer go for the ultimate stopping power on his Honda Fit with a modified Brembo brake kit from a Subaru BRZ.  The 6piston big brake kit features 2 piece drilled rotors in 355x32mm.  This is not a normal fitment for the Honda Fit and neither are these 1 piece forged BBS Wheels from Japan.  This is an entire custom project from start to finish.  New hats were made, he changed the wheel studs, different wheel knuckles, and more.  This is probably one of the most intense retro fits we have ever seen.  Check out his full DIY on FitFreak.net here.

Sexy Flush Wheels for a Porsche 993 and a BMW M3 E91 Wagon

Working with different vendors all over the world, sometimes there are complications with an order, a shipment or the fulfillment of an order. We pride ourselves on having amazing customer service. For this Porsche 993 Carrera S owner from Sweden it was a rock road to find hi perfect setup. When he notified us of the problem, our sales guy Sean (sean@vividracing.com ext. 226) swooped in to help make sure that he got exactly what he was looking for, and that we did everything in our power to make any wrong, right. When it was all said and done, here’s the email we got from him,

“Hi, Sean.

Don’t know if you remember, but you helped me resolve an issue with non-deliverable rims for my Porsche 993 Carrera S like 8-9 months ago. It all ended with me buying a set of BBS LM-Rs, which you found at the US importer and one of which was black. After a long winter here in Sweden, and far too much at work to attend to. I have finally had time to custom paint them, experiment with various spacer combos and eventually had everything perfectly fitted. I enclose a couple of pictures, so that you can see the end result.

Although this was a long journey, seeing the final result it was all worth it! I am 100 per cent happy, and convinced that the 18 inch regular LM’s I had first ordered wouldn’t have looked half as good. And if one rim hadn’t been black, I probably wouldn’t have even considered custom painting all four, which decidedly is sweeter than the stock silver finish.

So again, a million thanks!!!”

He wanted his wagon to be the baddest wagon on the road, so that’s what we did for him. Ahmed set him up with a pair of Rotiform BLQ forged 3-Piece Concave Wheels. The front are 19 x 9 5 x 120 and the rear were set are 19 x 10 deep concave center. They are satin anthracite on the outer barrel and glass anthracite center caps are satin red.
