Novitec Redefines the Ferrari F458 Speciale

If you’ve been a fan of Italian supercars for any number of years, the name Novitec or Wolfgan Hagedorn will be familiar. For those, less familiar with the company and its creator, Novitec was started in 1989 with the mission to redefine Italian Sports cars. Hagerdorn is based in the heart of car-making country. Stuggart is known for producing revolutionary automotive products, so it makes sense that to revolutionize and icon, you go to the mecca for inspiration.

The Ferrari F430 was an amazing car when it was first released, but the longer it was on the market, the more enthusiasts found things they would add to make it better or more unique. With that Ferrari designed and released the F458 Spider. This was a compilation on technological progress accompanied by design creativity. The F458 is still one of the most popular Ferrari’s on the road and now with the F458 Speciale edition, Ferrari is really trying to capitalize on the popularity. Similar to the F430, a car loses it’s glamour after a while and the owner longs to resurrect it’s awe effect. That’s where Novitec comes in. They take the awesome F458 chassis and morph it into a supercar fantasy.

We’ve recently added the entire Novitec product line for the F458 Ferrari. We will be adding more products in the coming weeks, so stay tuned. If you’re looking to enhance the look and aerodynamics of your F458, Novitec is the perfect company to go with. SHOP Novitec HERE. SHOP Novitec F458 HERE.

The Calm before the Haboob

Yes… We said Haboob. To those non-phoenix natives, Haboob’s are those epic dust storms you hear about on the news. They are our version of “extreme” weather here in Arizona. They are usually accompanied by monsoon-like rains and a whole lot of wind. Last Thursday, our photographer and some employees, set out to shoot a customer’s super clean Miata with a fresh set of Work Wheels, but ended up getting more than they expected.

We are in the heart of Monsoon season right now in Arizona. That means the weather can turn on a dime. The photoshoot that started in a sunny parking lot, soon turned into a heated escape from a determined Haboob. The pictures tell a story, but we’ve added a little clip of what it’s like to be in the middle of a Haboob.

After taking some shots in park near by, they could tell the weather was taking a turn. They decided to try and head to the next spot, but the storm picked up faster than anticipated. As the wind whistled through the power lines, the hard it was to see what was ahead of you on the road. If you’ve lived in Arizona for any amount of time, you know the best thing to do when a Haboob is approaching, is to pull over and wait…. Which we did, but not before getting some shots.

Not many car enthusiast would risk their interior just for an amazing shot of their car, but that’s precisely what our customer did. As the Haboob was closing in, they decided to play chicken with the Haboob to get some last minute shots while the top was down.  You can see the treacherous monster looming in the background, just waiting to envelop and destroy this top-down, Miata. Like an avalanche of dust, they captured the storm engulfing everything in its path. Once the picture was shot, the race to get the top up, was on!

Once the top was securely fastened, the waiting game began. With in minutes, a sunny day had turned into an apocalyptic night. As with most car enthusiasts not risking their interior, most photographers wouldn’t risk their gear, to get this video within the eye of the Haboob.  As hurricane force winds plaster the group of cars, our photographer, Cody Gephart was capturing the chaos firsthand.

After 30 minutes of waiting out the storm, they decided to call it a day. Even though the storm had past, they still had to maneuver through the path of destruction. The slammed Miata looked like Frogger trying to avoid all the debris left behind. One, slightly large branch, could leave a fatal blow to his precious build. Anyone with a black car knows how hard it is to keep clean.  The Haboob erased all the hard work he went through to prep this jet black car to be photo-ready. With in seconds of the storm starting, all the hard work was washed away leaving him with a sand blasted finish. Welcome to life in Arizona!

F430 is Adorned with HRE Wheel Royalty

If you had a Ferrari that needed wheels, we would recommend one name to you, HRE. They are wheel royalty in the business. After being around for over 30 years, they not only release some of the best quality wheels around, but the technology behind the wheel is exceptional. This customer was looking for the perfect statement wheels for his Ferrari Scuderia. This lighting yellow flash has the black racing stripes going down the middle of the car which give it the car an even more threatening curb appeal. He wanted wheels that were of the highest caliber, and would make his car whip heads as it went by, that’s why we recommended the HRE P45L Monoblock wheels.

The finish literally makes the wheels pop of the pavement. Nothing about these show-stoppers is subtle, but neither is the Ferrari their installed on. The F430 is made with similar materials to its predecessor, the F360, but it looks drastically different due to the body restyling. Put that new body shape with these HRE’s and you have one seductive looking supercar!

Nobelesse Kit makes this FR-S look Undoubtedly Agressive

If you Google FRS Body Kits, there are two names that are synonyms with the FRS, the rocket bunny and Noblesse Kit. The Rockey Bunny is known for it’s industrial look with exposed bolt pattern.

The Nobelesse kit however is much more streamlined and equally as aggressive. It gives the FR-S a most robust, almost GT-R or 370Z look. Nobelese doesn’t just give your FR-S a better look, it enhances the aerodynamic qualities of the car. Giving you better, all around, performance.

Our customer got the kit without the wing, but then decided to go out of the box and get off-road suspension to make his new tank can go where he needs to. Of course no build is done without wheels. He chose the Enkei RS05RR’s to complete the look. Now this agressive nightmare is ready to stalk the dreams of tuners everywhere. If you’re interested in the Nobelesse kit, contact ahmed@vividracing.com or ext. 231.

We’ll leave you with these for now. SHOP FR-S PARTS HERE. SHOP FR-S BODY PARTS HERE.

Customer"s Rare Supercar Collection featuring the New Laferrari

What better way to cheer up the Monday blues than with our customer’s rare collection of supercars? The collection is comprised with new and old Ferrari’s. All in jaw-dropping condition. His friends got in the photoshoot too, and after seeing the lineup, we want to be a part of this car club too! Porsches, more Ferrari’s, Lamborghini, and more! Even the area that some of these cars are being displayed in is enviable.

We started off the, drool-worthly lineup of supercars, with what is called the most extreme performance ever achieved by Ferrari the Laferrari! Next there are some shots of the Panamera-esque Ferrari FF, along with the veteran of the group, the F40.

Enjoy these pictures and let us know which supercar you would take if money wasn’t an object. Tell us in the comment section below or on Facebook or Instagram.
