BBS Presents New Inventory and FI-R Wheel Applications for Exotics

BBS is happy to announce the addition of new applications to their FI-R wheel lineup. The new application will fit the Lamborghini Huracan and Gallardo, as well as the Audi R8. It is also believed that the wheels will fit the McLaren Mc12; however, BBS has no confirmation of that as of yet. New information regarding this application will be released once they have been test fitted on the car.

The FI-R series wheel features minimum mass and maximum stability. They are lightweight, aesthetically appealing and durable. BBS has two sets of FI-R wheels coming in in platinum silver within the next two weeks. They have already received a set in satin black that will be used for content generation. Additional sets will follow in 30-60 days.

Customer"s Electrifying Lamborghini Verde Scandal Huracan Build

A customer of ours by the name of Chris (IG: @pandagtr) posted photos of his GTR sporting Varis, Revozport, Seibon, Velos, SPL parts on the GTRlife forum. It is safe to assume that many of you have seen these, as they have been shared immensely. His more recent build, a Lamoborghini Huracan, is also becoming widely viewed on the blog with its Novitec, DMC, Velos and Vorsteiner mods. His Verde Scandal Huracan build is in full swing, and the first stages of it just got wrapped up. Fortuantely for Chris, he received his parts in Houston just in time for TX2K.

Vivid Racing is proud to announce that we supplied the Vorsteiner front spoiler and side blades, in addition to the Novitec sport springs for this build. Vorsteiner just released these photos of their amazing Lamborghini Novara Huracan in motion.  Debuted at the 2015 SEMA Show, the deep matte purple Lamborghini Huracan is the newest flagship mobile of the Vorsteiner Aero Kit line up.  With amazing attention to detail in the carbon fiber add-ons, Vorsteiner has stepped up the styling by also adding these exquisite GT race car style carbon fenders.  There is not much words to describe how awesome this car is other than looking at these rolling shots.  What else would I do to this car, maybe add the VF Engineering Supercharger Kit to take this beast into the stratosphere!  Shop all Vorsteiner Aero Parts Here.

Vorsteiner Lamborghini Huracan Novara & New Wheels | SEMA 2015

Vorsteiner has dropped the hammer on the aftermarket industry with their new Vorsteiner Lamborghini Huracan Novara edition that was unveiled at SEMA 2015.  Vivid Racing was able to catch a good glimpse of this beast along with other new products that Vorsteiner is releasing.  The Novara kit consists of a revised front bumper with carbon fiber spoiler lip and inserts, flared wheel arches with carbon fiber vents, side skirts, rear diffuser and uprights.

In addition to the Lambo kit, they have 2 new Flow Forged wheels styled as the V-FF 105 and V-FF 106 to go along with the rest of their wheel collection.  Vorsteiner has always been on the cutting edge of styling and that is why Vivid Racing has continued to use them on our Project Cars including our latest McLaren 12C.  Check out the pics and video below!

Vorsteiner Lamborghini Novara Huracan Revealed!

Akrapovic Titanium Exhaust on the Lamborghini Huracan is Pure Exhaust Porn!

Akrapovič has launched a new exhaust system for the Lamborghini Huracán LP 610-4 that will make this amazing V10 Italian supercar blow away its rivals.

This beautifully crafted precision-engineered Slip-On Line system is a work of art in itself even before it’s attached to the car, but it’s when the starter button of the Huracán is pressed that this titanium alloy exhaust really comes into its own. Produced from high-grade materials that dramatically reduce weight from the stock system—leading to improved handling—the Slip-On Line noticeably improves the performance of this stunning car, as well as adding a superb sound that’s sure to turn heads wherever it goes.

Using experience gained from Akrapovič’s success with the Lamborghini Gallardo exhaust system, the new Slip-On Line for the Huracán has bigger main pipes than the standard system and a specially designed X-part (for cross-flow) in the muffler, all perfectly developed and manufactured to improve engine performance and lower the back pressure. With the increase in power and better torque, the system also has dual-mode exhaust valves—made with cast titanium housings from Akrapovič’s in-house foundry—to control the sound and performance.

The unique growl from the naturally aspirated V10 engine is improved across the full range to create a distinctive note that thrills the senses, without any unwanted cabin noise. At lower revs and during cruise operation, the valves are closed, producing a deeper and sharper exhaust note, but when the revs rise, the valves open and the power increases, releasing the full passionate soundtrack of the engine to unleash a sporty, uncompromised howl that shows that the Huracán really means business.

To complement the stunning performance of the Slip-On Line system, the look is further enhanced with four exquisite carbon fibre tailpipes that set off the beautifully proportioned rear end of the Huracán to perfection. The system is supplied with a full, easy-to-follow mounting manual and is designed as a plug-and-play exhaust.

An Akrapovič-equipped Lamborghini Huracán LP 610-4 will heighten the senses with its incredible looks and sound, and it really gets the pulse racing as the power increases and the true nature of this Italian supercar is released.
