New StopTech Big Brake Kits Available for Nissan and Infiniti Models

Centric Parts has just announced the availability of a range of front and rear StopTech Big Brake Kits to fit a wide range of Nissan and Infiniti models. StopTech BBKs include stiffer calipers, larger rotors, higher friction pads, stainless steel lines and application-specific mounting brackets and hardware. Like all StopTech high performance BBKs, they offer significantly improved braking performance, feel and modulation over stock systems and are available in a variety of caliper color and rotor finish options.

The front StopTech BBKs for these Nissan and Infiniti models include a pair of drilled or slotted 2-piece AeroRotors and four- or six-piston StopTech ST calipers, as well as mounting brackets, stainless steel lines and StopTech Sport brake pads.

Subaru BRZ Brembo Kit Modified to a Honda Fit with BBS Wheels

We had a customer go for the ultimate stopping power on his Honda Fit with a modified Brembo brake kit from a Subaru BRZ.  The 6piston big brake kit features 2 piece drilled rotors in 355x32mm.  This is not a normal fitment for the Honda Fit and neither are these 1 piece forged BBS Wheels from Japan.  This is an entire custom project from start to finish.  New hats were made, he changed the wheel studs, different wheel knuckles, and more.  This is probably one of the most intense retro fits we have ever seen.  Check out his full DIY on FitFreak.net here.

WP Pro EX6 360 Clubsport Big Brakes Shown Off

WP Pro Brakes has some pretty amazing engineering for the big brake industry.  We recently showed off their new EX8 caliper here, but have these brand new photos of the EX6 360 clubsport kit now to share!  This is the same kit we are running on our Project Mercedes CLA45 that features the very unique carbon fiber cooling duct cover.  The kit also features the very unique saw blade style rotor which is a 2 piece floating design.  Similar to what is used in Grand Prix Street Bike racing, the saw blade rotor is extremely light weight and when combined with a race pad, gives unbeatable stopping power.  These calipers do come in standard colors or can be custom done in any finish.  Check out more of the WP Pro Big Brakes Here.

WP Pro Brakes New EX8 Big Brake Caliper Revealed

WP Pro Brakes has some pretty awesome engineering and applications in the braking world.  Stay on top of design, they have their new forged EX8 caliper which will be used on new big brake kits.  The EX8 caliper can accomondate the front axle with a 388mm or 410mm 2 piece rotor.  This includes their exclusive carbon ceramic brake rotors and even the very unique saw blade rotor as used on our Project CLA45.  Of course for the more traditional drivers, slotted or drilled rotors are available.  Brake calipers are available in standard red, black, yellow or can be custom done as pictured.  Caliper weight is 2.9-3.2kg/6.4-7.1lb depending on application.

Ford F-150 Truck Big Brake Kits by Brembo

If you have not been in a Ford lately, you really should.  Its not the old Aerostar you had as a kid growing up.  The features, comforts, and more are at German levels.  I honestly still feel this way after owning our Project Ford Focus ST.  With the popularity of the Ford Raptor, the unmodified version, F-150, is the top selling vehicle in the world.  Used in so many capacities, some owners convert them into being beastly monsters or show vehicles.  The leader in brake technology, Brembo, has stepped up and released brakes for the new 2015+ Ford F150 2WD truck.  The massive front brakes feature a 6 piston caliper and 380×24 2 piece floating rotor.  That is a 15″ disc!  The rear also has a 380×28 rotor and features Brembo’s forged 4 piston caliper.  All Brembo Brakes are available in standard Black, Red, Silver, Yellow, with Drilled or slotted rotors.  If you want that special custom caliper color, just hit up Vivid Racing for that treatment.  We have attached the measurements here so you can check your wheels for clearance.  Shop all Brembo Big Brake Kits Here.

Ford Focus & Chevy Cruze Get Some WP Pro Brake Upgrades!

Good news for those Focus and Cruze owners looking to spice up their brakes!  Recently, WP Pro was approached by a few World Touring Car Championship (WTCC) teams.  The teams had one thing in mind, for WP Pro to develop a brake kit to pass FIA certifications for their Ford Focus and Chevrolet Cruze applications!  The brake kit that WP Pro has developed is off of the EX6 kit on the red Project CLA45!  However, according to WP, the only real similarities are the brake pad size; because this brake kit is only a 4 pot (piston) caliper.  As you can see in the pictures below, this kit features stainless steel pistons with titanium alloy cooling caps, and anti-knock back springs.  Best of all fits a rotor size of 345mm and 360mm with a thickness of 30mm and 32mm.  So if you are looking for new WP Pro brakes for your new Focus or Cruze or C63 AMG feel free to shoot us and e-mail at sales@vividracing.com, call us, chat with us, or just do it now and Click Here to buy!
