I guess that the 300 horsepower that a stock Subaru STI comes with just is not good enough for some.  That is why these guys built their STI to be almost 4 times the stock power!  Working with Performance Specialist Josh here at Vivid Racing, Eduardo equipped his Subaru with nothing but the best in performance parts.  Starting with the power, the engine was built with Brian Crower cams, ARP head studs, Darton sleeves, Wossner pistons, and Carrillo rods.  Powered by a Full Race twin scroll turbo kit, the massive Garrett GTX-4508R turbocharger pushes boost to the engine.  Providing enough fuel with Injector Dynamics 2000cc injectors and a Aeromotive triple fuel pump, the entire power is controlled from a Link Electro standalone ECU system.  With some other extras including a Cosworth oil pump and head gaskets, Eduardo is also using upgraded Okada project coilpacks for improved spark.  The power is put to the ground via a Exedy triple plate clutch kit.  If you don’t look good, your still slow, so he has improved the stance with a set of JRZ Coilovers and Advan RZ-DF wheels.  You know what else?  A lot more mods then we can write about!  Check out the video of this thing laying rubber to the dyno! 1100 Horsepower Subaru STI Rips on the Dyno

Scion xB Gen 2 Stance with ESM Wheels and KSport Coilovers

This super sick Scion xB comes from one of our own around here.  When we go film all of our sweet Vivid Racing Videos, this xB is always near by with equipment.  So instead of looking like a box, it now has a super flush look to it.  The first addition to the generation 2 Scion xB was the KSport Kontrol Pro coilovers.  Providing adjustable ride height and dampening, the KSport coilover is a great intro system to get the improved look and handling.  The xB was lowered as far as it could be without compromising to much function.  The biggest change comes from the old school German tuning style wheels of ESM.  ESM specializes in these 1 piece cast wheels targeted to the rebirth of the old school crazy.  Whether its a E30 BMW or a new Scion, ESM brings in the style.  ESM has several different styles available ranging in sizes from 15-18 inch.  The style featured below is the ESM-002.  Its throwback 80′s mesh style has drastically changed the look of this Scion xB.  The wheels were done in a 18×8.5 and a 18×9.5 using a 5mm H&R rear spacer in the rear.  The wheels were then wrapped with Yokohama S Drive tires in a 205/40/18 and a 215/40/18.  Next up are some VIP aero mods!  Check out all the ESM Wheels to appear on our wheel catalog here.

BMW E46 330 Touring Featured in BMW Performance Magazine

Its pretty rare that you get to see a high performance BMW 3 series wagon.  Available abundantly overseas, I remember seeing a E60 BMW M5 “estate” over in London and thought how sick that would be to own.  Our customer Stuart has been working on his BMW 330I E46 Touring Wagon for the past several years with Performance Specialist Greg here at Vivid Racing.  Greg obviously did a good job cause Stuart even gave him a shout out in the mag!  Now that is customer service!  Some of the parts that Stuart equipped his 330 with include a set of BBS wheels.  The front features a set of BBS LM in 19×10.0, 5×120 bolt pattern, and a +20mm offset.  The rears are a set of BBS LM in 19×11.0, 5×120, +25mm offset.  Both wheels finished in silver.

Getting nuts behind the wheels is a set of StopTech Trophy Big Brakes.  The StopTech Trophy brakes are the full race big brake upgrade that StopTech has.  The front kit is a 355mm 2piece rotor with a 6piston caliper and the rear is also a 355mm 2piece rotor but in a 4piston caliper.  Getting further unique, he equipped the inside of the car with a set of Recaro Sportster CS black leather seats retaining a heated option.  The seats mounted perfectly to the car with a set of Wedge Engineering Seat Brackets.  If we find more pics, will add them up here because this is 1 badass BMW!

Volkswagen Passat Outfitted with Rotiform Wheels

Most of have seen them on the road, but don’t always attribute them to a tuner car.  The thing is that, any vehicle is a tuner car and that is what makes being apart of Vivid Racing so awesome!  It does not matter what you drive, we just want to sell you awesome parts to make your vehicle unique.  This customers VW Passat 2.0T is no different.  A local here in Arizona, he wanted to get a perfect stance and style to his VAG ride.  So he equipped his 2008 with a set of Rotiform NUE Cast Monoblock Wheels in 19×8.5, 5×112, +35mm in Gloss Black.  The wheels were mated with a set of Dunlop Direzza DZ101 Tires sized 225/35/19 front and rear.  A final touch of some black lug bolts, the wheel setup was complete.  To get the perfect stance, he then lowered the car with a set of KSport Kontrol Pro Coilovers.  Check out more Volkswagen Flush Wheel setups here!

Big Brakes Starting at Under $1600 from KSport

Not everyone is looking to get brakes that cost as much as a car…  Big brake kits have a lot of function and style over factory cast ugly calipers.  KSport has taken over where other companies (cough ora cough) have left off.  Couple of functions of big brake kits is to provide lighter rotors.  2 piece rotors feature an aluminum hat and floating hardware that save weight, but also allow for better heat dissipation, and braking performance.  The rotor size is important as well.  A larger surface area means better braking.  But where the difference is, is in clamping force.  typically a 4piston rear and 6piston front kit will have you stopping like a Porsche.  However KSport has you going 1 step forward with their 8 piston and 12 piston big brake upgrades.  KSport includes a set of street sport brake pads and steel braided lines to give you a simple bolt on solution that transforms your ride in the performance and looks department.  Available in colors like Red, Silver, and Black, KSport also has these in their trademark Orange.  Check out all KSport Big Brake Kits here and view pictures below!

Renntech Powered 2004 Mercedes CL500 - Customer Ride

The big body coupe from Mercedes is one of the luxury rocket powered machines out there.  Having cruised in a CL65, they may be heavy, but these things will scare the sh&t out of you!  Our customer Jaime sent us these photos of his 2004 CL500 that he upgraded with us.  Jaime got the Renntech Lowering Module which allows you to lower the cars electronic suspension.  Unlike traditional shocks and springs, these executive rides have electronically controlled ride height.  But when you are putting some 3piece wheels on, you dont want wheel gap.  Jaime also added the Renntech PC Controller which allows you to control this via a PC or tablet.  Great ride and be sure to send your Vivid Racing ride images to us at marketing@vividracing.com!  View all our Mercedes Upgrade Parts here.
