2011 BMW M3 Frozen White Powered Up by VR Tuned

Just had this local limited edition BMW M3 E92 Frozen White in for a Tune.  The VR Tuned ECU flash is done via the OBDII port.  This customer preferred to have us do the flash and we gladly obliged here at our Gilbert, Arizona shop.  The file is about 5mb so takes 15 minutes to read and 15 minutes to write.  The longest part of the process is waiting to get the tuned file done.  With the OBDII flash client, the car can be flashed from stock to tuned and reversed at ease.  With this tune, we are able to remove the annoying cold start that is typical on the BMW M3 V8 engine.  We also change the 02 limits so that high flow or catless exhausts can be run.  Another great feature is raising the rev limiter up 300rpm and then removing the top speed limiter.  All in all, the V8 really wakes up down low in the torque department and mid range.  Top end the V8 4.0L engine is pretty strong.  Check out the pics of the flash and make sure to watch the VR Tuned BMW M3 V8 Video Here
