The time has finally arrived for a horsepower boost of Porsche’s new 3.6L twin turbo engine as featured in the Macan Turbo and Cayenne S or GTS.  VR Tuned has our new Plug and Play tuning box kits available (shipping 10/23/15) for these new platforms.  The wait time for a tuning solution is because of the change featuring new pressure related sensors.  Where to older Cayenne, Panamera, and other Bosch sensors were just plug and play, the manufactures have added a pressure feature to them.  Now VR Tuned has the tuning box kits available for these platforms and others.

We have been showing off the performance of the Tuning Box kits for the past 2 years.  Tuning Boxes are a great way to gain massive amounts of horsepower and torque, while also improving fuel economy under partial throttle.  Unlike a ECU flash that can potentially void your warranty, the Tuning Box kits plug into sensors while the boxes microprocessor tuned map takes over.  The Tuning Boxes also have a dial on the back to set based on octane and boost delivery, See Here.  With these tuning box kits, we can create custom mapping (if vehicle is here in Arizona), even though the direct manufacture has dyno and road proven the performance.  The installation is pretty easy on most vehicles including the Macan.  We put all our VR Tuned Tuning Box Installation Instructions Here.  For warranty purposes, you can easily remove the harness if you feel the need to and there is ZERO detection of the car’s ECU being altered.
