Tomei Loves the AE86 and You Will Too Now

Tomei is one of the elite in Japanese automotive parts.  Whether stroker motors for the 4G63 or GT-R camshafts, they do it all.  The Toyota AE86 is the original drift car.  The ones that a generation gawked over watching the Initial D cartoon series.  Finding this car is gonna be rare, especially in good condition.  If you do find one, you might pay anywhere from $5000-$8000.  But like all cars, this is a project, and if you want to have the best of the best to prove “money ain’t a thing”, you get Tomei.

Tomei has just released these new titanium exhaust components for the AE86.  This includes the ExpremeTI Type R and Type S system.  The Type R is the ultra lightweight under axle exhaust.  This is as straight as you can have.  The system weighs only 8.16lbs and on a already super lightweight car, this is good!  The Type S is similar to stock where it goes above the axle.  Slightly more weight at 9.37lbs.  Compared to the stock system at 23.81lbs, thats a big chunk of savings!  Both exhausts feature a beautifully blue burnt titanium tip that sits nicely out the rear bumper.  So what does a exhaust like this cost you?  You can be super JDM and lightweight at $1090.00.  Type-R part number is TB6090-TY01A and the Type-S is TB6090-TY01B.

But wait (shamwow guy)!  Tomei also has the full titanium cat delete pipe.  Because this car is so old that emissions probably dont apply in some states or you are straight racing.  More power and lighter weight is the purpose of this part.  For full titanium, you are only adding another $240.00.  Part Number TB6100-TY01A.
