2014 Audi TT Quattro Sport Concept Unveiled at Geneva Auto Show

The first look we got of the 2014 Audi TT Quattro Sport Concept takes a page out of the aftermarket playbook. Audi has listened to their customers who track their TT’s and added some awesome upgrades to the sport concept. This thing is truly designed for performance.

With 20 inch wheels, a massive grill, huge air intakes, front splitter, rear diffuser, and fixed rear spoiler this thing is an aftermarket shop’s dream… Or nightmare? Now that Audi is offering a Sports package like this, it begs the question, “What would you add? Or change?” Obviously customization will always be something customers are looking for, but as far as performance goes, this thing is bad! With many of the 2014 models, we, as a aftermarket distributor that works a lot in R&D, are given a new challenge. Well Audi, challenge accepted!

We are excited to see what vendors come up with for this track star’s dream. The rounder edges of the TT has always softened any aggression the stock TT exuded. I have always thought that a spoiler is a must-have for the TT. It gives the body that finishing touch the stock model longed for. With so much surface area in the front end, it makes sense to take advantage of all that air flow, and this trapezoidal intake is gnarly. All-in-all this 0-100 in 3.7 second rocket is the future of sport concepts.

Bold Vossen"s Redefine this CLS 63

The CLS63 AMG was made to turn heads, not only with it’s performance, but with it’s new sleeker design. The more fluid design gives this car the celebrity factor while the performance makes any car enthusiast envious. This customer wanted more for his CLS 63. The stock design was awesome, but in order to make it, his own, he had to get some upgrades. That’s when he hit up our sales guy Ahmed (ahmed@vividracing.com ext. 231) for some help with upgrades.

Ahmed and him decided to go with a set of Monoblock Vossen VVSCV5′s. This aggressive 5 spoke wheel is similar enough to the stock wheel, that the shape of the car compliments the Vossen wheel perfectly. The look of the bold, 5 spoke wheel, makes the car look more prominent. While the matte graphite machine finish gives the wheel the attention to detail every aftermarket enthusiast is looking for. Although the Vossen wheels alone changed the look dramatically, he didn’t want to stop there. He went with some different Renntech aero pieces, that further pronounced the already sleek design.

Porsche 991 Turbo Aftermarket Headers Built

So excited to see how things are coming along on our Porsche 991 Turbo here at Vivid Racing.  Taking things 1 step at a time, we have been developing some nice products that really show off what the Agency Power brand can do.  With individual product testing schedule for this week, our last product is a set of 3 into 1 header manifolds that the 991 TT does need.  Unlike the 996 and 997 Turbo, these headers just dont look like a great design.  With a clam shell stamped design, the flow looks like it could be greatly improved.  That is why they call it R&D though!  So our fab team here at Vivid Racing has come up with these beautiful tubular stainless steel headers.  The schedule 10 304 stainless steel headers feature 3/8″ thick flanges that have been water jet cut to perfection.  The header tube diameter has been slightly increased and with a well designed merge collector, the 991 Turbos should be spooling up a lot faster.  Stay tuned for test results and view all our Project 991 Turbo pictures here.

Edirb seats were introduced this year at the 2014 Tokyo Auto Salon. They are Bride’s version of a more luxurious racing seat. They exemplify a European inspired look, while adorning a protein leather that is soft yet durable enough to withstand the wear and tear of time. That leather is wrapped around a strong black monocoque shell. Monocoque is a shell that uses a hard exterior to shield and guard it’s interior. Although this shell can protect you at high speeds it’s still lighter than most stock seats. All Edirb seats are FIA Approved. They range in size and structure. They offer fixed back and reclinable models. The construction of the seat as well as external designs, such as stitching, are what differentiate one seat from another.

Mercedes CLA250 with New 19 inch NICHE Wheels

On our mini Project Car Mercedes CLA, we just showed off the complete H&R Spring installation.  With the car now lowered 1.2 inches front and rear, it was time to get rid of those sucked in wheels and put some stance to make this car dance!  The wheels are the Niche Targa 1 piece monoblock forged wheels.  Niche wheels, house brand of manufacture MHT Wheels, has this awesome lineup of forged designs including the Targa.  Very similar to the wheels we used on our 997.2 Turbo, its split spoke design is very popular,  The front wheels are a 19×8.5 +42mm and the rear are a 19×9.5 +50mm.  The wheels have been finished in a brushed double dark tint which gives it a different look depending on the light and angle.  Needing more rubber, the wheels were wrapped with 235/35/19 and 265/30/19 tires.
