The Porsche Cayman S was created with a lot of potential air flow. The engine itself is very aspirated. Having a lot of air is a great thing when it comes to power; however, if that air isn’t being use effectively, then you’re losing power. Agency Power recognized this flaw and decided to make the Cayman S more efficient by opening up the gateway for the air to flow through. This throttle body is spec’d from road and dyno testing to give the best responsive for the 987 Cayman Boxster engine. Since the engine works off of pulses, it is not as important of the shape of the T-Pipe but the throttlebody diameter and how much useable air flow you are getting.

The Agency Power Performance Plenum Kit for the Porsche Cayman S is the perfect tool to get your Cayman to it’s full potential. They have done their homework and dyno tested it to ensure you’re getting the best performance you can. Agency Power’s Racing Plenum uses a combination of factory Porsche parts and our custom made aluminum T-Pipe to guarantee you an OEM look, fit, and finish with no troubles or false claims. As tested on both left and right hand drive vehicles, the plenum does not impede shifter cables or other sensors functionality. The plenum is a direct plug and play and includes the necessary adapters, clamps, silicone hoses to fit to your car. Tuning is not required, though as tested with our VR Tuned, gains 25 wheel horsepower which is approximately 35bhp.

New 2014 Wheels from Ray and Weds Sport Wheels

Wheels are one of the, if not the most, sought aftermarket part. Changing the wheels on your car, changes the entire look and attitude of the car. It’s no secret that we are quite the wheel connoisseur’s. We usually go through 2-3 sets of wheels with every project car. So when new wheels are released we get excited. This past week we got emails from Rays Wheels and Weds Wheels releasing new 2014 wheel designs, and they are rad!

The email from Rays Wheels came in first. They are releasing their new 57 Getter Wheels. This one piece model sports casting wheel has lines that remind me of something out of Tron Legacy. They are more box-like and not as fluid. Proving that Ray has the vision and talent to continue to move the wheel industry forward. Here’s how Ray Wheels describes the futuristic shape,

“We shape up the whole by placing five sets a relaxed V-twin spoke. To ensure strength and rigidity ribs on each end of the spoke. It was to have a variation of up to FACE3 FACE1 from each size, the racing concave, which is provided for in each set.” (This is the translated text from their Japanese site.)

Quicksilver Releases Audio Perfection for Lotus Exige S

Quicksilver is constantly exotic cars and making them speak a different language. The Lotus Exige S, is not only known for its sexy look, but its handling and performance as well.  Quicksilver could leave this track beast alone. They just released their Sport Exhaust for the Exige S. This lightweight system gives the Exige S more efficient flow while providing noticeable improvements in the throttle response. The sound enhancement that the Sport Exhaust provides is incomparable.

Quicksilver specializes in working with the engine to perfect a consistent sound at lower revs while really unleashing the sound at higher rpm’s. But even in the higher revs, the sound is aggressive but crisp and clear. The tip design fills the rear valance perfectly without being too large. There are many unknown benefits to having smaller tips. Adding large shrouds not only adds weight, but can affect the the durability and sound. The weight difference in the OE standard  to the Quicksilver Sport is 5.8 kilos. The weight difference in the OE sport and the Quicksilver Sport is 2.9 kilos. When you’re on the track, that weight can mean seconds off your time.

Quicksilver has released this video to not only show the sound of the exhaust in short, but the sound of the exhaust you can expect for a longer duration of time. So many exhaust videos only give you a sound clip. Quicksilver gives you an idea of what you can expect in the long haul, a terrifyingly crisp and clear sound.

New Legato Body Kit for Genesis SFX by ARK

Legato is a musical term meaning, “seamless integration between notes.” This body kit from ARK is just that, a seamless marriage between the already pleasing lines of the Genesis Coupe and the body extensions. The Legato was a concept featured at the Hyundai booth at SEMA. Because the Genesis at SEMA was just a concept there were still details to be worked out. Not only have they made the product more complete, but they have made it affordable as well.
