The BMW F10 M5 is probably one of the best super sedans out right now.  In comparison, you have the Mercedes CLS63 and Porsche Panamera Turbo.  Each of these sedans produce well over 500 horsepower and give you every amentity possible.  When it comes to the “Ultimate Driving Machine”, the 4.4L V8 twin turbo M5 is definitely it.  Its amazing what a set of wheels do to transfer the look of a car.  This is our very own James’ F10 M5 which got a set of the Carbon Graphite V-FF 103 Flow Forged Wheels.  Flow Forged is like a forged wheel at a fraction of the cost.   To see the process of how a Flow Forged Wheel is made, view here.  This particular set is as 21×9.5 front with a 28mm offset and the rear is a 21×11 with a 30mm offset.  The tires are Michelin Pilot Sport 265/30/21 and 305/25/21 in the rear.  Perfect match!

2014 RS7 Balls Out with HRE"s

New 2014 Wheels from Ray and Weds Sport Wheels

Wheels are one of the, if not the most, sought aftermarket part. Changing the wheels on your car, changes the entire look and attitude of the car. It’s no secret that we are quite the wheel connoisseur’s. We usually go through 2-3 sets of wheels with every project car. So when new wheels are released we get excited. This past week we got emails from Rays Wheels and Weds Wheels releasing new 2014 wheel designs, and they are rad!

The email from Rays Wheels came in first. They are releasing their new 57 Getter Wheels. This one piece model sports casting wheel has lines that remind me of something out of Tron Legacy. They are more box-like and not as fluid. Proving that Ray has the vision and talent to continue to move the wheel industry forward. Here’s how Ray Wheels describes the futuristic shape,

“We shape up the whole by placing five sets a relaxed V-twin spoke. To ensure strength and rigidity ribs on each end of the spoke. It was to have a variation of up to FACE3 FACE1 from each size, the racing concave, which is provided for in each set.” (This is the translated text from their Japanese site.)

2013 VW Golf R Perfectly Slammed with Work Meister Wheels

You know you got it bad when you go from the car lot, to the chop shop. If we can’t mentally think of the mods we want to do to a car, there’s no point in buying it. This 2013 Volkswagen VW Golf R feels the same way. This guy started modifying his VW before his paper plates came off. After the first few perfomance mods, he needed to need that automatic satisfaction piece, so went on a wheel binge to figure out what would look best. We are familiar with wheels binges. Our car see more shoes than our closet does. But when you find the perfect set, you know it was worth all the time and hassle. That’s why he came to us, to help him find the perfect set of wheels and not break the mod bank. He went with a set that we have recently featured on one of our project cars and at SEMA.

He settled on the Work Meister wheels 18×9 Front and 18×10 Rear wrapped in Federal Tires – 215/40/18 Front and 225/40/18 Rear. Once the wheels were on he lowered his levels to the extreme. Simply labeled as “fitted,” this thing is perfectly SLAMMED! This thing may be low enough to slither, but looking at the mod list you know this thing isn’t just for show. One of the biggest adrenaline rushes of buying new products is the feeling of seeing it on your car. We know people are ready to throw down some dough when it comes to parts.
