Acura NSX with Advan Wheels and Spoon Brakes

The Acura NSX is a timeless sports car that put the Acura/Honda brand on the map.  The car had an amazing run for nearly 20 years before it went dormant.  These cars have become rare and are still desired to be modified to the extreme.  With the new Acura NSX being released, the original NSX is popping up more and more in the car culture.  Our customer Dan sent us these photos of his price and joy sporting some Advan Wheels and Spoon brakes amongst other mods.  The front wheels are Advan GT in 18×8.0 5×114.3 +45mm and the rear wheels 19×10.0 5×114.3 +35mm all finished in semi gloss black.  The wheels have been trimmed off with a set of Muteki SR48 Wheel Locks in a Burned Blue finished.

Acura NSX Clean Lines with Seibon and Downforce Carbon

The Acura NSX is one of the timeless sports cars ever.  The high revving, mid engine machine really could be put in the supercar class especially with its $100,000 price tag.  Add some boost to these and they were simply rear wheel drive rockets.  The NSX is harder and harder to find in very clean condition.  However the cult following of the NSX will never die and as the new 2016 Acura NSX comes to fruition, the older model is still highly desired.  This customer of Team Member Ahmed, geared his silver body NSX with some clean Seibon and Downforce parts.  The car features Seibon’s carbon fiber front lip and rear valance that have been painted to match.  To wrap the body in a full aero trim, the car has also been equipped with Downforce “Stacy” side skirts.  The most important part of this upgrade…  the 5 star review the customer gave us!  Check out the pics below.

The Acura NSX has been one of the highly desired Japanese sports cars of its time.  With its JDM competitors being the Toyota Supra and the Nissan Skyline, the NSX has everything in the looks and handling department.  What it was lacking was horsepower.  However there is never a shortage of tuners ready to take on challenges.  With the Honda motor easily buildable, superchargers and turbo kits were fitted easily and the NSX became a rear wheel drive monster.  With the NSX disappearing from market in the mid 2000’s, Honda (Acura in the USA) would lose its supercar.  With the car concept being discussed in 2007, a new prototype for the 2017 NSX has been shown and the revival of the NSX is becoming popular like so many of its revived cohorts:  CRX to CRZ, Corolla 86 to FRS, rebirth of early 911’s, and so many more.

MRR Wheels has a variety of 1 piece wheel options for European, Domestic, and JDM cars alike.  Their latest photoshoot is of this beautiful black Acura NSX featuring a set of MRR Wheels FS01 wheels.  The staggard fitment is classic of the NSX in a 18×8.5 +35mm and 19×10.5 +36mm.  Finished in bronze, the mesh style wheel is a perfect remix for this iconic car.
