BMW M3 GTS from PP-Performance Shows Off

When we first featured PP-Performance, they were showing us  their version of Vivid Racing over seas. They had some shop shots, glamour shots of exotic cars and some installs they were in the middle of. Since then they have been cool enough to share videos, more upgrade pictures and keep us in the loop of what’s going on around the car-world. This latest string of pictures features a bad ass BMW M3 GTS rippin around the course, and shots of it’s twin. We don’t know which upgrade is our favorite on these race machines. Even the interior is outfitted for a race king. PP- Performance has proven once again that, they know how to do it over seas!

SRT Viper Glamour and Naked Photos

With only a week to play with it on the public streets, our Project SRT Viper is now under the knife for the 2013 SEMA show with Seibon International.  We have removed the front and rear bumper, as well as the hood to which Seibon will do their work.  Much like our 2012 SEMA BMW M5 F10, Seibon will be working on making a rear carbon accent, front carbon accent, and a new hood design.  Following with other products we have collabed on, the rear will get a carbon fiber diffuser and the front will get a nice front lip spoiler.  Being that the OEM hood as well as decklid is already beautiful carbon fiber from the factory, how could we improve upon this?  Well it comes down to styling.  With such a complicated design, we as well as you are very intrigued to see how the hood will turn out.   As well, we will be doing the side skirts to complete the package.

With the car stripped down naked, we will be putting the Agency Power touch to the car.  This includes building custom headers, new exhaust system, air intake all to start.  As we dive deeper, we will be analyzing engine components, suspension adjustability, as well as dress up parts.  So stay tuned to our SRT Viper build here as we start off with some baseline number analysis.

The Start of a BRZ Beast

If you’ve bought something recently from Vivid you may remember the option to leave a product review. That is how we found this BRZ. This customer sent us three reviews about products he just bought. Since the products came in, in close succession we wanted to try and get before and after pictures before he started installing. After contacting him, not only did he supply pictures but he gave us pictures of the product before and after install.  He plans to add more, so this will probably not be the last blog we write about his BRZ. Here is this BRZ’s story from first review to after installation.

Here are the products he got, Agency Power Lightweight Crank Pulley, Agency Power Catback Exhaust and a Seibon carbon Fiber trunk and hood. Our sales guy Sean (sean@vividracing.com ext. 226) was able to help him get the perfect upgrades for the results he wanted.

New GT-250 Adjustable Wing from APR Performance

No matter what racing you do, you know that anything that can give you even the slightest edge on the competition can make all the difference. APR is an aero company we have worked with for a while. When they say their items will shave seconds of your track time, we’ve personally seen the difference. Not to mention, customer’s of ours have told us about the improvements their APR products have given them. Not long ago, we had a customer use APR on his Lotus. You can read the story here but, the aero products shaved seconds off his time. That’s the difference between a loss and a win. Here’s what APR had to say about their new GT-250 Adjustable Wing.

Although adjustable wings aren’t specifically a suspension component, they play a crucial role to the handling characteristics of a car. This allows your car to have more or less over steer characteristics, giving you additional control to tune the rear traction of your car.”
