Customer"s Scion FRS with Seibon Carbon

Here is a nicely upgraded Scion FR-S featuring Seibon Carbon parts.  Seibon Carbon has been a huge partner of Vivid Racing working with us way back in 2009 on our EVO X in the Toyo Tires booth as well as the 2013 SEMA with our SRT Viper and 2012 SEMA with our BMW M5 F10.  The quality and finish of Seibon’s carbon fiber products is top level.  This customer took that advantage over other brands and added their CSL Style Carbon Trunk and TS Style Carbon Hood to his FR-S.  The Trunk is a nice add-on with a built in “duck tail” that gives the RWD coupe some extra style.  The vented front hood is a great way to keep air flow coming out to reduce heat soak and of course those style points again.  The hood and trunk fit with OEM latches and are a direct replacement.

Final Mod List for Emily"s 350Z

This is a follow up blog to one we did in May. This 350Z already has looks to kill, but with the recent upgrades, it has the performance to back it up. This is our receptionist Emily’s car. Her car represents the fact that there’s more that meets the eye then a pretty set of wheels. In the last blog we were showing you how to install a set of Berk Test Pipes. Since then she’s added a few things that help make her point…

She started with Motordyne Plenum Spacers, Ksport Coilovers set at a three inch drop in the front and three and a half in the back. In addition some True header backed with three inch pipes and RSR mufflers. Tack on the Vortech V3 Supercharger with nine pounds of boost and she has no problem holding her own. She defined the body with a Veilside rear wing and Seibon carbon hood, front lip and grill delete. To top it all off she put on a set of Forgstar F14′s 19×10 +20 in the front and 19×11 +21 in the back.

With that list of upgrades, I think we rest our case. Here are some shots of the final product. Tell us what you think of the upgrades on Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram.

The Start of a BRZ Beast

If you’ve bought something recently from Vivid you may remember the option to leave a product review. That is how we found this BRZ. This customer sent us three reviews about products he just bought. Since the products came in, in close succession we wanted to try and get before and after pictures before he started installing. After contacting him, not only did he supply pictures but he gave us pictures of the product before and after install.  He plans to add more, so this will probably not be the last blog we write about his BRZ. Here is this BRZ’s story from first review to after installation.

Here are the products he got, Agency Power Lightweight Crank Pulley, Agency Power Catback Exhaust and a Seibon carbon Fiber trunk and hood. Our sales guy Sean (sean@vividracing.com ext. 226) was able to help him get the perfect upgrades for the results he wanted.
