Varis Widebody Scion FRS Making Moves

If you were Googling the term, “Rad”, then you found it right here with our customer Harris’ Scion FRS.  Where everyone else is about that full bunny, Harris went straight JDM with this Varis body kit and custom add-ons for the FRS.  Featuring an aggressive front bumper, he also molded to the body Rocket Bunny front and rear fenders.  The Varis rear bumper with diffuser is amazing along with this uber sexy track wing, the Varis kit is no joke.  Every piece was given attention to detail including the front lip which brings the black of the factory driving lights down onto the lips carbon fiber accent.  If you look close, you can see that forced induction front mount intercooler creepin.  The flow of the side skirts to the rear over fenders is second to none.  The rear of the car is what kills it.  First off is that 50 horsepower gaining license plate frame!  But even better is the way that rear diffuser flows with the bumper and then extended exhaust tips.

His wheels are a perfect design.  The Work VS-XX are a 18×9.5 +19mm and a 18×11.5 +14mm with a 255/35 and a 285/35 tire.  The suspension is dialed with BC Racing Coilovers, front and rear Agency Power sway bars, and stiffened up with control arms and end links.  The car is powered by a JDL turbo kit that makes almost 400 wheel horsepower which is double from the stock 200.  Check out the pics and make sure to comment and also follow him at VarisBunny on Instagram.

Customer"s Scion FRS with Seibon Carbon

Here is a nicely upgraded Scion FR-S featuring Seibon Carbon parts.  Seibon Carbon has been a huge partner of Vivid Racing working with us way back in 2009 on our EVO X in the Toyo Tires booth as well as the 2013 SEMA with our SRT Viper and 2012 SEMA with our BMW M5 F10.  The quality and finish of Seibon’s carbon fiber products is top level.  This customer took that advantage over other brands and added their CSL Style Carbon Trunk and TS Style Carbon Hood to his FR-S.  The Trunk is a nice add-on with a built in “duck tail” that gives the RWD coupe some extra style.  The vented front hood is a great way to keep air flow coming out to reduce heat soak and of course those style points again.  The hood and trunk fit with OEM latches and are a direct replacement.
