ADV1 New Wheel Designs Showcased

ADV1 Wheels has titled themselves “thewheelindustry” and rightfully so with the innovation in wheel designs and marketing they bring.  For SEMA 2015, they released 7 new designs some with features not yet seen before in the wheel game.  These new designs are takes on old twists and more by paying attention to the fine details of the wheel styling.  The ADV10R, ADV15R, and ADV08R, are just a couple of the new designs as shown below.  One of the most outstanding builds is this Lamborghini Huracan featuring the ADV05C wheels.  ADV1 has also taken the highly desireable forged wheels and designed them for truck and SUV duty as seen on this Hummer H1.  The biggest and most unique design is the ADV05M and ADV06M which feature a mesh inset on both the spokes and center caps.  Vivid Racing is an authorized ADV1 Dealer and you can shop all our ADV1 Wheels Here.  Remember to call us for special wheel/tire packages at 1.480.966.3040.

Audi A4 Mega Widebody with ADV1 Wheels

This is one of those must shares as the car is simply incredible.  The guys at ADV1 Wheels shared this from Best Performance in Poland.  The customer widebody kit on the Audi A4 is definitely following the trends right now.  Its Liberty Walk style widebody kit is not skipping a beat from the front carbon fiber splitter to the rear trunk wing.  The cherry red Audi features ADV5.0 Track Function CS wheels.  The 20×12 set at all 4 corners features exposed hardware, matte black centers, and a polished gloss “manbronze” lip.  However you put it, this thing is hot!  Check out the original article here on ADV1 Site.  You can shop all our ADV1 Wheels and Custom Order Here.

Fear "The Beard"

When we got our Project Focus ST there were other people out there starting to mod theirs. A lot of them were vendors, but there was this one enthusiasts, @williamstern (aka. The Beard) from Miami we ran across on Instagram. We’ve been following his build since the beginning of his build. His Tangerine Scream Focus, has been getting a lot of attention online. It’s been almost like a game of chess between him and us. We would add something, then see what he would add, and so on. Although this ST project car is far from finished, he thought it was far enough along to share the progress.

Not only is this custom color loud and body aggressive, but it’s the custom pieces that make this build memorable. One of the first things you’ll notice besides the color, are the custom painted ADV.1 ADV15 MV1′s. These 18×8.5 with YokohomaS Drive’s stretched around them demand attention. No matter how you feel about domestics, or the ST, there’s no way you can look at this car and not think it’s bad ass. The fierce black accents  that he had done by The SignSavers on the roof and side mirrors are more of a sleeper upgrade.  The Tangerine Scream is an awesome color, but it’s possible to have too much of a good thing. The customizations on the mirrors and roof are the perfect counter balance to the Tangerine Scream.  When you get closer, you’ll notice one of our favorite custom touches. “The Beard” wanted to make sure every passerby knew who’s car this was. So he had Tikore make custom lug nuts with a mini-silhouette of him, and his infamous beard.  It’s like the signature, on a piece of art.  Although we won’t be printing our mug on any lug nuts soon, we can appreciate the hint of narcissism. 

The next noticeable upgrades are on the body. He’s taken the already distinctive lines of the Focus ST and extended them to add definition to his custom creation. The Street Scene Sides and Front Lip Kit, he got from us, really put the finishing touch on the exterior. It’s an unspoken rule in the tuner world that you can’t have a body kit and custom wheels without adjusting the suspension accordingly. He went with some BC Racing NA Coilovers to make sure those custom ADV.1 were perfectly slammed .

Although we spent a lot of time praising the exterior, don’t think for a second that this thing’s just a show pony. The performance upgrades are, just as impressive, as the exterior upgrades. Here’s a list of mods he had done at Dynamic Turbo, that make this thing put down 273 wheel horsepower and 357 pounds of torque.

One of the things we love about what we do, is taking the mundane, and making it look insane! All of our project cars are just dreams being lived out. We take an idea of what something could be, and with the right tools (and some cash flow), we make our vision a reality. If you’ve ever made a video, you can appreciate how videographer’s take simple shots and make them into rolling pieces of art. This new ADV.1 video proves our point exactly. Take a look at these Ferrari wheels, they are 21×9.5 in the front and 22×12 in the back. They’re finished with a gunmetal center and brushed outer rim. This particular model is available for the Ferrari 599, Ferrari 458 (this is more of an aggressive fit), and Ferrari California. These beaut’s are listed as ADV5.0 TS versions, and they are available for your ride…  So get on it.

Although Advanced 1 has only been on the scene for a minute. The years of experience and knowledge they have between their owner and staff sums up to a lifetime in the industry. It is that combination that leads to these amazing ADV10, deep concave, wheels for Mercedes CLS63. They got the 21×9′s in the front, and rock the 21×10.5 in the rear. They are perfected with the brushed center, polished windows, along with polished lip and single tone inner. I’m just saying, I wouldn’t be mad if someone left one in my driveway, that’s all.

To end this wonderful glimpse into our car heaven we are going to leave you with this sexy Nissan GT-R R35.  This is one of our favorites because it is sneaky hot. We think of it as the girl next door who wears glasses and a pony tail, once those are gone you’re left with a wicked hot broad. This is a tribute to the secretly hot chicks everywhere. Our customer David decided he needed to make his already stunning gunmetal Ferrari F430 even more sicker by adding a set of ADV1 5.0SL wheels.  The large split 5 spoke design has become very popular in the wheel world and this is no exception as it improves the stance of the Ferrari.  The wheels were done in a 20×8.5 in the front and a 21×11 in the rear.  To match the Ferrari, they were coated in a gloss gunmetal and feature a polished lip.  The ADV1 SL wheel is their “Super Light” race series.  This puts a answer to the day old question of, “how much does it weigh”.  These wheels were developed to be the absolute lightest possible wheel while still maintainng full street and track use certification without the use of any non-standard materials in order to provide the wheels to anyone who wants them, for any vehicle, and in a wide range of sizes.  View all our ADV1 3piece and Forged Wheels here.
