BMW M5 F10 Carbon Carbon Carbon - Dat Ass

Well just as the title says we bring the most beautiful booty of the new BMW F10 M5.  This car has been equipped with an Agency Power carbon fiber trunk lid and a Agency Power carbon fiber rear diffuser.  The trunk features a CSL style built in lip wing and the rear diffuser with its macho strakes gives the M5 that rear end it truly needed.  But why stop there!  This crazy Gulf customer (they do love their cars), went 1 step further and got him self the new Akrapovic exhaust system with carbon fiber tips.  Ever heard the Akrapovic exhaust or seen its price tag?  Baller status!

Honda NSX Lives in the UK at Recent Silverstone Showoff

One of our customers in the United Kingdom took his Honda NSX (Acura for you ‘Mericans), to a recent car show off event at Silverstone.  A well known racing venue, this NSX had the right equipment for the car and track.  Ahmed in sales hooked him up with a set of Advan RSII Wheels and a carbon fiber APR Performance rear wing.  Its not all exotics running a muck through the streets of London.  There are some pretty die hard JDM Honda fans their too!

Some of his buddies super cool DC2 and DC5 Integras

Subaru STI 2011 Time Attack Proper Setup

Almost 3 years ago we showed off a customers 2011 Subaru STI sedan from south of the border in Mexico.  This customer of ours has built hundreds of cars for him and his friends.  When we first debuted this STI here, we showed off some of the incredible parts it was running like the Brembo big brake kit, Tein super racing coilovers, Agency Power control arms and sway bars, plus a lot more.  Having had a set of Volk Racing TE37SL wheels and a set of Advan RS wheels on slicks for the track, this Subaru was built to win.  Fast forward 3 years later and he has forwarded us some updated pictures.  Now equipped with his sponsors livery, he has also added a APR carbon fiber rear wing to improve downforce at top speeds.  Also noticeably different is the Seibon carbon fiber vented race hood.  At the end of the day, if he does not beat you in this, he will probably just jump in his Porsche GT3RS 4.0L, Ferrari 16M Scuderia, or maybe his buddies Bugatti Veyron!  Love the stickers!

Stance Nation Import Showoff Nisei Week Automotive Life Video

The Vivid Racing crew headed out to the 2013 Nisei JDM Showoff event sponsored by Stance Nation in Downtown Los Angeles. Having attended the event back in 2003, 2004, and 2009, we made a bigger and badder return with our massive tent, Status Racing seats, and Nissan Skyline R34 GTR. Covering all of the hellaflush style cars from VIP Lexus, stanced EVO’s and STI’s, old school AE86′s, and more. Widebody kits were in no shortage or either were super deep 3 piece wheels. BMW M5 F10 Fitted with HRE S101 Wheels

As a BMW M5 F10 owner, we can verify, confirm, put the stamp on, and triple thumbs up that his is hands down the best BMW M car ever built.  The V8 twin turbo power plant and upgraded transmission drives amazing compared to the raw dog V10 E60 M5.  But instead of just looking like the rest of the crowd, you got to spice up your ride by adding 3 necessary parts as soon as you get your car off the dealer lot.  First, a stock exhaust is always weak.  You bought a sports sedan, lets hear a sports sound.  So we equipped this machine with a Meisterschaft exhaust just like the one installed on our Project F10 M5 seen driving here.  Next is something called the fist theory.  If you can put your fist between the tire and fender, you dont want to bring it home.  Lower is better unless your out in the wilderness.  But this is not called Vivid Romping.  So to keep the amazing electronically controlled suspension, we just added a set of H&R lowering springs to give it that perfect stance and improved handling.  Whats nice about the H&R springs is they feel really comfortable for daily driving and don’t give you that back jarring feeling that other springs do.

Finally, stock wheels, they got to go.  No matter how much of a upgrade they were, they are no good.  One of the premier wheel partners of Vivid Racing is HRE Wheels.  Their extremely high end 3 piece forged wheels have set the #industrystandard in aftermarket wheels.  And hey, they actually make them start to finish themselves!  Their S101 is one of the newer styles with a bit of concavity, machined pockets, and a split design that has become very popular.  The 21×9.5 fronts and 21×11 have been wrapped in a set of Michelin Pilot Sport PS2 tires.  Featuring a 265/30/21 up front and a meaty 295/25/21 in the rear.  The brushed tinted clear finish with polished lip is a perfect match for the OEM silver body color.

Porsche 991 Carrera Roll Bar Released by Agency Power

We have had so much success with our Agency Power bolt in roll/harness bar for the 996/997 that we decided it was time to make one for the 991 Carrera. The 996/997 bar fit all models of the 911 chassis including the Carrera, Turbo, GT3, GT2. The 991 chassis will be the same which gives us the advantage to have a product for all models of the new 2013 and up 911. Considered a harness bar, the bolt-in unit gives the driver something to secure their racing harnesses to for track days while giving that GT3 race look. What makes the other roll bars for the previous generation hard to sell is the shipping. Since they are all 1 piece hoops with removable harness and diagonal bars, they have to ship on a pallet via truck freight. Domestically this can cost up to $300 and international shipping can be thousands! Diversifying our product for the Porsche 991 Carrera, we made the all 1818 steel tube bolt-in bar to have extremely strong slip fit connections.

On the 996/997 bar, you had to remove the front seats to install it. Though we made it slightly lower to accomondate sunroof models, the chance of scratching something on install was prevalent. So we are making this 991 harness/roll bar even more user efficient. Having created similar items via Agency Power for the new Focus ST and Scion FR-S using this design, it allows for a super easy install or quick removal. The top hoop is connected to the b-pillars with a slip fit design and quick release pins. Using the lower seat belt mount on the b-pillar with a stout steel bracket, this allows for the seat to be position and reclined far back to accomondate up to a 6’3 driver. Also this design allows for regular Fedex shipping to save the customer on cost.

With the material and design, it is still very safe and provides the functionality and look 991 owners need. If you are looking for a FULL roll cage, this is not the product for you. This is a great item for the weekend DE driver wanting to have alittle fun. The roll bar | harness bars are available in several different powdercoat finishes and are built to order.
