Vorsteiner Releases Center Lock Wheels for the New 991

Like us, a lot of people are excited to make-over the new 991. Porsche’s already have such a thoroughbred lineage that it’s an unspoken challenge to make them better. We were always admirers of Porsche’s then finally got our hands on one in 2006, it was our first 996 Carrera. Although we didn’t go all out, it started us on a road to where we are today, with the new 991 turbo, that could use some upgrades.

Vorsteiner took on the challenge to upgrade the pure bred beast. Although they are relatively new to the wheel game, this wheel is symbolic of their Decade of Excellence in the aftermarket industry. We’ve been using their body kits on our project cars for years now. Their style is so aggressive, that when they broke into the wheel industry, you knew there was nothing but awesomeness ahead. They have their Sport Multi-Piece Forged collection, their Sport Challenge Forged collection, their Special Edition Forged collection, Sport Race Forged and Flow Forged Monoblock collection.

Vorsteiner has just released the latest addition to their Special Edition Collection, the VSE-004 Center Lock wheels for the new 991 and 911 Turbo S. The VSE-004 Center Lock wheels feature a Brushed Shadow Gloss face and brushed matte clear outer barrel. If that’s not your cup of tea, they have dozen of other finishes available. Fitment for the 2014+ Porsche 911 Turbo S is 21×9 front and 21×13 rear. Congrats to Vorsteiner on such an awesome milestone!

New Clutch Masters for Genesis Coupe Out Grips the Competition

Vivid Racing has been a huge fan and believer in Clutch Masters Clutch and Fly Wheel products. They have proved to be one of the best performance clutch systems to replace the stock stock setup. The Hyundai Genesis is a newer car to the tuner scene. Their compatibility to aftermarket parts is similar to FRS’s. The car stock is fun and has some spark to it. But, to make it a contender in the industry, they have proven to be very responsive to aftermarket performance products.

Clutch Masters is proud to introduce their new FX-series performance clutch/flywheel kits for the 2009-2012 Hyundai Genesis coupe 3.8L. The new FX-series change over kits, feature a light weight single-mass steel flywheel, along with all the necessary components for an easy bolt on installation.

Clutch Masters High-Leverageâ„¢ pressure plate provides an increase in clamping force while still maintaining a soft pedal feel. The High-Leverageâ„¢ design reduces the amount of load against the crankshaft, minimizing thrust bearing wear, and crank walk. The Clutch Masters High-Leverage pressure plate utilizes a ductile iron casting, which is tested and balanced as a complete unit. They new system saves 15lbs of weight (OEM 55lbs – Clutch Masters 40lbs.).  The heavy duty pressure plate and light weight single mass steel flywheel offer a much quicker throttle response as well as a higher clamping force. The kit also includes Agency Power hydraulic lines, which gives your clutch pedal a much firmer feel allowing for better control in drag racing and shifting. The lines are red with CNC machined anodized ends.

New 2014 Volk Racing Wheels - Pictures

Volk Racing is always out-doing themselves when it comes to custom wheels that push the performance and design limit. At SEMA they were in preperation to launch three new wheels. Vendors were privie to the latest edition Volk Wheels at SEMA. Although pictures were not allowed, there were still some images that were leaked. Volk is waiting until after the Tokyo Auto Salon to release the three new wheel versions ZE40, TE37 ULTRA, and the CE28 BLACK EDITION. The most talked about wheels are the ZE40. The wheels are rumored to have a technique that decreases the weight around the center of the wheel. They were made for performance vehicles that like to look good, while killin’ it on the track.  We also have exclusive photos of the TE37 Ultra wheel that will be available in March. SSR Releases New Fitment for 370Z

Our sales guy Sean who is our 370Z guru, came across this release from SSR. 370Z fans have been upset since SSR discountinued the Type F and Type C wheels. Many Z fans, Sean included, loved the weightlessness and classic styling of the Type C wheels. Type F held the same legacy, so when they announced the discontinuation, tears were shed all over the Z community. But now, the day has come that all Z fans, everywhere have been waiting for. The arrival of the GTV series. The top pick for Z’s right now is the GTV03, there are more to come, but if you’re looking for an aesthetic upgrade the GTV03′s are it!
