Softronic ECU Flashing Special on Porsche Turbo - Save 20%

Its that time of year again where Softronic does their annual special price for their world’s most incredible and user friendly ECU Flash! What makes this the best flash? Well before I write, let me give you the price cause that is what you want to know. For the 997.1 Turbo or GT2, the flash is $1756 plus the cable. Retail is $2195. For the 997.2 Turbo or Turbo S, the flash which retails at $2295 is now $1836 plus the cable! For the 996 Turbo, X50, or GT2, the flash is $1240 plus the cable.  And finally for the 958 Cayenne Turbo or Turbo S, the flash is $1276 plus the cable. Cables can be shipped anywhere in the world for easy use. Plus all ECU Flashes include the ability to use the www.durametric.com software FREE!

So why is this the best flash? Having tuned several Turbo’s since 2006 with Softronic, I have been able to first hand experience the performance increase and see the proven results on the dyno and at the track. My very own 700HP 996 Turbo was Softronic Tuned. My 997.1 Turbo with GT3076 Turbos ran the Texas Mile at 206.5mph and could drive to the grocery store comfortably! And finally my 997.2 Turbo S was tuned with Softronic competing in the 6 day grueling Targa Newfoundland road rally.  I have owned 2 Cayenne V8 cars where the performance was noticeably improved and finally a 2010 GT3RS that came much alive after the flash.

Do I have to send my ECU to you? No way! That would be dumb. Flash your car from the convenience of your work or home via the OBDII port and the flash cable we provide. You follow the instructions as seen here (written by myself to be very clear for any computer skill level) - www.softronictuning.com/installation. All you need is a windows base laptop (DFI cars min 4gb of ram), hard line or wireless internet, and a battery tender. Mac users, I have had customers boot up in windows mode to do this. If you have the tools but not the confidence, no problem, give me a call and I will do a remote screen share with you and help you do the read and write – 4809663040 x222.

Do I need to wait to do the flash for my other mods? Nope, all basic bolt-ons such as exhaust, intake, plenum, intercoolers, etc do not require a re-reflash. The only time when you need to do a new tune is when you upgrade turbo or fuel components. The ECU will adjust for basic bolt-ons and should never require special tuning for such things as a exhaust. If you buy the flash now and add on bigger turbos or injectors at a later date, you only pay the difference as a Upgrade Tune not the price of a full new flash.

What about the gas I run. I only get 91 octane? We have tunes available for both 91 and 93 octane (95 and 98 ron equilvalent). DFI cars use the same map so its not a issue. Anytime you run better octane, the performance will increase. It is not recommended to run straight C16 if you have cats as this will damage the O2 sensors and cause a issue.

Is there any other things I need to do besides the flash? Technically no. The only thing we recommend doing on the Turbocharged Porsche is upgrading to a 1 step colder spark plug. Because of the increased horsepower, torque, and boost pressure, the stock plug will foul out pretty quick at peak torque around 4500rpm. This will cause a misfire and be immediately noticed. Colder spark plug is always recommended when increasing the power, especially when that increase is 100hp!

Do you do “Custom Tuning”? We do custom tuning for upgrades such as larger injectors, bigger turbos, VTG modifications, MAFless, etc. These custom tunes are priced per basis. Regular tuning is done on your direct file, that is why we have you read it out. For all tunes, we raise the secondary O2 limits so you will not get a CEL from high flow cats or catless exhausts. On 6speed cars we raise the rev limiter 500rpm unless requested not to.

Has anyone else ran the tune that can give me feedback? We have tons of reviews from people all over the world. Check them out here:

Porsche Cayenne Turbo 007 Getaway Machine

One of our customers wanted to make sure that is work truck was safe and secure while fitting in with todays styles.  What started out as a stock Porsche Cayenne Twin Turbo soon turned into his personal secure command center.  The first step in this build was to make sure at anytime, the Cayenne could not be caught.  Its performance was upgraded with a Softronic ECU Flash adding 50+ horsepower.  A set of Agency Power diverter valves helped keep the boost pressure constant while a pair of BMC filters delivered more air to the turbos.  Fabspeed’s exhaust system for the Turbo and secondary cat bypass pipes helped boost power as well as letting others know this truck means business.  Making sure on those getaways he did not have any problems from the LAW, a K40 RL360 radar detection system was installed.  Giving 360 degrees of radar protection while being discreet on the interior, the K40 is the ultimate.  But when your on the move, you can forget about the potential of laser detection.  K40′s laser defuser system was also installed to make this Porsche completely stealth.

With the headlights and taillights smoked and the rear emblems blacked out, it was time to get the stance done.  The white Cayenne TT went for the super tough contrast of black wheels.  Not any black wheels, these are 24 inch Asanti AF146 wheels.  The 24×10.0 wheels featured all black hardware, center caps, inner gloss black lip, and outer carbon fiber look lip.  With the gloss black face and a set of Pirelli P-Zero Nero 285/30/24 tires, this truck was official.  There is only one problem, none of the cargo is safe.  So we added a custom built Truck vault for the rear of the Cayenne.  Fire proof, bomb proof, bullet proof, nobody is getting this sensitive material.  Featuring 2 drawers and heavy duty locking mechanisms, the ultimate package was complete.  While a hot topic in our nation and Arizona having the most unrestricted gun laws, this 50 caliber shows you that this customer is not afraid to protect his machine!

The photos were taken at Studio-3D by photographer Barry Gossage here in Arizona.
