Ohlins Track Setup on a BMW M3 E46

The BMW E46 M3 was a huge step up from the E36 M3 and became one of the best track cars around.  I desperately wanted one of these cars back in 2002 when I first spotted a Laguna Seca Blue one on the highway.  Over the years I had the chance to see more and more and then we finally did a Vivid Racing Project BMW M3.  The E46 has still reigned supreme in the track world and even in the show scene.  As an enthusiast vehicle, the limits continue to get pushed.  One of the best ways to make the rear wheel drive coupe even better is with some sticky tires and performance coilovers.  One of the leading names in suspension for automobiles and motorcycles is Ohlins.  Dating back to 1976, the Swedish suspension company has been apart of hundreds of championship teams including LeMans, MotoGP, Super GT, and more (See History Here).  Some of the most popular Ohlins street applications for Vivid Racing have been the Mitsubishi EVO 8/9, Nissan GT-R, Porsche 997 Carrera, and Volkswagen Golf/GTI (view install here).
