JLine Wheels Perfect this Red Honda Civic Sedan

For those that come from the West Coast JDM show scene of the early 2000′s, you will know who JLine Wheels is.  Keeping a low key on providing unique styling multipiece wheels for select customers, JLine has not lost its edge.  Our customer Ashley went big on her Honda Civic SI sedan with a set of these JLine SDM L2 wheels in 17×9.5 with a +17mm offset.  The 2 piece wheels all done in chrome have been wrapped with a set of 205/40/17 tires to give it just enough stretch.  Check out more on JLine Wheels Here.

HRE C95 Wheels on a Flat Black 1968 Camaro Project Car

Just over a year ago, one of our customers ordered a custom set of HRE C95 for his Camaro project car.  The 1968 body has come along way and still has about 3 months left to completion.  The flat black body with the bronze HRE deep lip wheels is definitely an amazing contrast.  From the pictures, the Camaro looks like he has a LS series motor installed with a supercharger to make some serious power.  The HRE C95 Wheels are a 18×9.0 in the front and a 18×11.0 in the rear.  The wheels have been wrapped with a set of Nitto Invo tires featuring a 275/35/18 and 315/30/18.  We cant wait to hear this bad boy and see it in final form!  Stay tuned to our blog for more info and check out more HRE Wheel Pictures here.

Vivid Looks Fresh at 2013 Eibach Honda Meet

We took a timeout from doing shows to focus on project cars and other business ventures, like sweet T-shirts! A few of the Vivid crew wanted to head to the 2013 Eibach Honda Meet with our friends from Clutch Masters. We decided if we were going to get back into the show scene, that we were going to do it right. We ordered a bad ass new tent with some unforgettable #respectthering flags, and handmade a display stand, that unfortunately didn’t make the trip this time. With that, we were off to Storm Stadium in Lake Elsinore, CA. Some of the names we saw at the event were Work Wheels, Volk Wheels,  Toyo Tires, Status Racing, Clutch Masters was right next to our booth. We had a great time. SRT8 Shows off New Niche Wheels

The new Dodge Charger is the baddest of them all. Dodge has really pushed their limits with interior and internal upgrades. This is one of our customers that wanted to give his SRT8 a more aggressive stance. The brushed silver make this black panther stands out in this concrete jungle. Our sales guy Josh (josh@vividracing.com ext. 230) helped him find the perfect wheels for his new American Muscle car. The Niche Monotec Concourse wheels are unique enough to stand out, but they are not too extreme where it looks tacky. It’s the perfect mixture of class and aggression. He got his Niche’s set at 20 x 9.5 +20 in the front and 20 x 10.5 +24 in the back.  He also applied wheel pocketing where applicable to decrease the weight. What do you think of the fitment? Hundreds of New H&R Products

H&R is a well known name in the spring and coilover game. We have used their products on various project cars we’ve put together and we just got hundreds of new products, for tons of different makes and models in. H&R isn’t new to the game. Starting out in the late 1970′s they have been able to adapt and change with the times opposed to sticking to the basics and getting lost in the dust. Their in-house design and innovation allows them to have creative control over every product they come out with since the 70′s. We don’t know if you’re like us and we think 2001 wasn’t that long ago but the 70′s was over 40 year ago, that’s a long time to be innovating and creating. They can not only be counted on for their legacy, but the reliability of their products will prove itself.

We’ve tried it out, now it’s time for you to step your suspension game up. Here are a few of the new H&R products we got.

We thought what better way to celebrate Memorial Day and say thank you to our military,  then to look at some great wheel setups. We gave you a sneak preview of these last week. This Porsche 997TT looks like it gets pulled over a lot. This beautiful piece of machinery would stand out in a sea of red. The 997TT is lustrous already, but slapping these 20″, flush, CV13′s on it, is the perfect way to accentuate the legendary shape of the 997TT. The front are 20 x 9 and set with a shallow concave, the back are 20 x 13 and have a deep concave to give that depth and alacrity to the look.

The next set of sexy D2 Forged wheels are on a sleek, all black, Audi A7. This Audi owner got these as, what he calls, a “true homage to the ‘Dark Knight.’” The rim of the 22″ CV2′s give a futuristic feel and all together it’s the perfect combination of fitment, color selection and design.

The next car is one loved all over the world. The Audi RS6 Avant. The unassuming hatchback is actually a beast on the road. By looking at it you would think Audi fell asleep on the design. That is until, you meet one of these cars on the road. When you’re being smoked by the “soccer mom” looking car, don’t be surprised it’s a brainchild of Audi. D2 Forged claims this is one of the crazier projects they’ve worked on. We think the Monoblock MB1′s give this sleeper the credibility, that the overall design lacks. What do you think? Sexy Flush Wheels for a Porsche 993 and a BMW M3 E91 Wagon

Working with different vendors all over the world, sometimes there are complications with an order, a shipment or the fulfillment of an order. We pride ourselves on having amazing customer service. For this Porsche 993 Carrera S owner from Sweden it was a rock road to find hi perfect setup. When he notified us of the problem, our sales guy Sean (sean@vividracing.com ext. 226) swooped in to help make sure that he got exactly what he was looking for, and that we did everything in our power to make any wrong, right. When it was all said and done, here’s the email we got from him,

“Hi, Sean.

Don’t know if you remember, but you helped me resolve an issue with non-deliverable rims for my Porsche 993 Carrera S like 8-9 months ago. It all ended with me buying a set of BBS LM-Rs, which you found at the US importer and one of which was black. After a long winter here in Sweden, and far too much at work to attend to. I have finally had time to custom paint them, experiment with various spacer combos and eventually had everything perfectly fitted. I enclose a couple of pictures, so that you can see the end result.

Although this was a long journey, seeing the final result it was all worth it! I am 100 per cent happy, and convinced that the 18 inch regular LM’s I had first ordered wouldn’t have looked half as good. And if one rim hadn’t been black, I probably wouldn’t have even considered custom painting all four, which decidedly is sweeter than the stock silver finish.

So again, a million thanks!!!”

He wanted his wagon to be the baddest wagon on the road, so that’s what we did for him. Ahmed set him up with a pair of Rotiform BLQ forged 3-Piece Concave Wheels. The front are 19 x 9 5 x 120 and the rear were set are 19 x 10 deep concave center. They are satin anthracite on the outer barrel and glass anthracite center caps are satin red.
