Lexus CT200-H the King of Hybrids

If you were to dream up a luxury hybrid, chances are, the features would be similar to those of the Lexus CT200-H. This hybrid crossover is the hybrid dreams are made of. Now the stock version looks alright, but the aftermarket industry has been good to this particular model. This CT owner has been upgrading he ride for a while now. If you’re on the East coast you may have seen his whip out and about, or cleaning up at shows out there.

First GramLight 57Xtreme SP-Spec for FRS/BRZ in US

These are the first FR/ BRZ/ GT86 fitment to hit the US. This customer worked with our sales guy Sean (sean@vividracing.com ext. 226) to make his GT86,  a thing of history. Although the wait period of these Gram Light 57Xtreme SP-Spec’s  was seven months, the owner says, “They were worth the wait!” We posted pictures of these 19×8.5 and 19×9.5 wheels, last week, on our Facebook and Instagram feed. They got a huge response, due to the fact that most people were wondering if we knew, there were pieces cut out of the wheels? The wheels are rare because of the extra machining, that aids in weight reduction. We think it just makes them look bad ass!

V3 Cobb Accessport - What You Need to Know

Cobb has been  a trailblazer in the tuning industry for years, but this new V3 Accessport is the cream of the crop. Here are the features you need to know about the latest Cobb Accessport.

1. Larger, Full Color, Higher Resolution Screen

They took the feedback from users and made the screen larger and easier on the eyes and more space for monitoring. They added full text help menus, multi-gauge layouts, full map descriptions and more. With this new port there will be no need to run back to the laptop to monitor the progress. 

2. Customizable Multi-Gauge Display

Want gauges? No problem. The V3 now supports up to six, fully customizable, gauges with 1/1000 resolution. Monitor all the parameters you want and customize each layout for street, strip or track.

3.In Vehicle Mount, with On/Off Switch

There is nothing we like more to see than an AP peeking over the dash. With the on/off button, universal mount and vehicle specific options, there is no reason not to run your AP in-vehicle.

4.Faster and Easier to Use with a Familiar Face

Once again they tapped into the voices of the customers and came up with this next feature. This statement from Cobb, “Use your same maps, monitor your same parameters, and troubleshoot your same codes, but now with more. More speed, more memory, more map storage, more live gauges, and more troubleshooting help.”

5.  Interchangeable Faceplates

What’s an aftermarket car without customization. You are now able to aestetically make your V3 match the color of your style.  The new V3 comes with 2 interchangeable bezels, blue and grey, or put your own touches on one.

Saabaru with Rare Status Racing Seats

This has been a big year for Status Racing. Since the new year they have discontinued the carbon kevlar seats to make room for the new honeycomb, red and blue colored carbon seats. Status hasn’t released any other details, but we are fairly certain they won’t stop with those three. The other big announcement from Status was the FIA approval of their Status Ring GT-X seat. As they put it, now “medium-husky” weekend racers can race in style and be FIA approved.

Like most, when we’re bored we waste time on Instagram looking at the latest from vendors, fans and enthusiasts. Last night we came across this Saabaru 9-2X with a rare set of our carbon kevlar Status Seats. As you might have guessed the Saabaru is a badge engineered version of the second generation Subaru Impreza. 2005 and 2006 were the only two years it was retailed here in the states. With that this sleek brainchild has been outfitted for shows from head to toe, and the interior is no exception.

The S2000 You don"t Want to Run into!!!

No matter how you feel about imports or “Ricer’s,” this is a car that any car enthusiast can appreciate. This S2000 owner has done a great job outfitting his Honda to be a modded out piece of machinery. A little more to this story is, this car is apparently best friends with the wicked EVO we introduced you to a while back. If you missed that EVO here’s the write up. Either way, you don’t want to miss these pictures and mod list, it’s one to envy. Our sales guy’s Arsha’s (arsha@vividracing.com ext.  225) helped this guy with his build and in return, he not only sent us pictures of his bad ass S2000, but he sent us a write up as well.  Here’s his write up and pictorial on this not so typical S2000. “Remember a few weeks back we did the write up about the Evo X that Arsha has been helping with parts.. Well this is his best friend.

When looking at this car your first thought is Ricer, or stupid Honda owner. But this Guy is far from it. Every part has a purpose and nothing has been overlooked or skimped on. From the full motor build to the APR wing and Wasp Composite race splitter that may look ridiculous to most, but when you take into consideration that he tracks this Daily Driven 651 WHP monster you understand the purpose. Even though it looks mostly stock on the outer shell there is nothing stock about under the hood or suspension.

Now you don’t build a track car like this without knowing a thing or two. After seeing the racing resume, which includes a national road racing championship in shifter karts, that he has been around the block once or twice on the track. There is still much more to come for this viscous monster and we can’t wait to see the finished product.

Must give a huge shout out to Wasp Composite for all there help with this aero package. Some of the best guys out and make an awesome splitter. Keep a look out for there FRS/BRZ splitter coming soon. C6 Corvette - The Epitome of American Muscle

Being in the spirit of American Muscle with our new Dodge Viper Project car, we thought we would show off some more domestic strength. This is our sales guy Arsha’s (arsha@vividracing.com ext. 225) Corvette customer. There aren’t too many things that say “America” like a Corvette and this modded C6 is no exception.  Rolling around on custom 19″ 1ONe 5IVE DUB’s, this thing is the epitome of the American Dream. He has them setup at:

It has a stock front fender and upgraded the back to a Grand Sport Rear Fender. What’s a nice set of wheels without suspension and brakes? He upgraded with the Z51 suspension and brake package.

Customer"s Lamborghini Aventador and Ferrari FF

Whatever this guy does, I want to do too. This is our sales guy Greg’s (greg@vividracing.com) customer. Greg helped this, modern day Bruce Wayne, get the perfect exhaust for his Lamborghini Aventador. He ended up going with the LBN Exhaust system. After he got that toy all squared away, he was ready to move on to the next million dollar project. He was between buying a Lamborghini Gallardo Superleggera LP570 or the Ferrari FF. He ended up going with the Ferrari FF and sent us some before pictures of his latest acquisition.
