Audi RS5 Featuring New Rotiform MUC Wheels

Wheels are one modification that truly keep your vehicle different and unique.  With such a vast array to chose from, some companies have it nailed down to not what is trendy, but setting the trends.  Rotiform continues to knock it out of the park with their stylish and aggressive stance styles and finishes.  Both their 1 piece monoblock and 3 piece forged wheels keep setting the bar for the wheel industry.  Recently they did a photoshoot with this Audi RS5 that features the 4.2L V8 engine.  The Audi platform is one of the most popular for Rotiform and these MUC wheels in bronze are a perfect example.  Typically Audi owners will run 19 or 20 inch wheels with square sizing because of the all wheel drive Quattro system.  Audi tends to have a higher offset wheel with slim brake caliper clearance for those that want more of a concave wheel.  Rotiform gives you both function and form with their line up. See all Rotiform Wheels Here.

Rotiform E63 AMG Wagon Hard Stanced

Rotiform Wheels is the standard when it comes to stylish forged or 3 piece forged wheels.  When you say the word “stance” or “flush”, Rotiform is synonomous with the latest trends.  One of their current project cars is this Mercedes E63 AMG wagon.  The new E63 AMG is an absolute beast.  If you think this is just another aired out car, you are wrong.  This thing can lay some serious rubber.   Pictured here, the Mercedes E63 features Rotiform’s new PNT concave multi-piece wheel.  The fat 5 spoke design offers an aggressive race look with the exposed rivets and fine machining to the spokes.  You can check out more Rotiform Wheel Applications Here.

Vorsteiner Aero and Rotiform Wheels Transform the McLaren

When I got this McLaren, I had every intention from the start to get a aero kit on it.  In it’s stock form, the front end of the 12C is just lacking.  McLaren really did the body justice when they came out with the 650S front end.  The rear too seems tall and needs more aggressive accents to it.  All of this definitely came together with the Vorsteiner Aero Kit.  In fact, the front end makes me think, did McLaren copy Vorsteiner’s front since it was released first?  In addition to the kit, wheels were a must.  Generally when we do Project Cars we work with a wheel company and choose the style and color.  However this time we did it differently working with the guys at Rotiform.  My exact words were, “make me something, just keep the stock sizes“.  So that is what they did!  And boy did they get unique on me with this new Rotiform CHD 3 piece wheel.  We did a nice video review piece on the wheels here.  We also added a 4 piece carbon fiber engine panel kit that will be available from Agency Power.  So now that we have our basic mods of the ArmyTrix Exhaust, Vorsteiner Aero Kit, Rotiform Wheels, what will we do now?  Well, how about a photoshoot :).  Lights, camera, action in the shop to present these awesome pictures!  Trust that we are not done yet, so stay tuned to our Project McLaren Blog Here.

Glow in the Dark Golf 7 by Low Car Scene & Blackbox Richter

Volkswagen Golf’s have always been popular in the tuner market and they carry their own cult-like following, but with the release of the new VW Golf 7′s, we’re seeing another wave of custom Golf’s on the scene. Since we were just at SEMA, one of the things you saw a lot this year, were cars wrapped with matte color or even a custom print like Justin Bieber’s leopard Audi R8 that West Coast Customs had on display. Well, Low Car Scene and Blackbox Richter decided to take their custom wrapped Golf 7 to a whole new, futuristic, level.

At first glance the car just looks like it’s wrapped in a off white almost mint color. The neon pinkish, orange Rotiform wheels and accents really stand out. The LED’s in the front draw attention too but, all-in-all, there’s nothing specifically impressive about this tuner… Until… The lights go out! That’s when you really see the ingenious behind this custom wrap. IT GLOWS IN THE DARK! The vehicle has been wrapped in a 3M phosphor vinyl that appears white, but then glows, like something out of Tron movie, when you turn out the lights. Not only was the exterior wrapped in the special vinyl, but so were the three piece 20″ x 8″ Rotiform wheels. Not to be outdone on any front, they added the LED’s inside the mud guards, which make the insides of the wheels glow as well.

We want to know what you think? Is this car as cool as we think it is? What car would you want to see glow in the dark?
