BBi Autosport Announces New Porsche 981 GT4 Roll Bar

BBi Autosport is proud to present their new highly anticipated StreetCup 981 GT4 StreetCup Roll Bar. Issues such as harness angle, seat travel, and engine compartment access were all carefully evaluated and addressed during the making of this product. With their sensible design approach, the bar mounts to frame structure in the cabin and rear strut towers to provide the strongest mounting points and maximum protection. For superior strength and rigidity, high strength 4130 chrome moly steel tubing was used throughout and all joints are meticulously TIG welded by hand. Bolt-in installation is accomplished by using Inner Diameter Tube Clamps that are CNC turned and milled for a precise fit. These unique joints allow us to eliminate the more traditional slip fit tubes with an unsightly through-bolt and nut. The final result is a bar that is both clean and functional. In addition, this system works meticulously to improve handling with increased power and torque gained with better gas-flow dynamics. Akrapovic is also proud to announce an optional Akrapovic Sound Kit (required for non-PSE cars) that enables drivers to control the sound of the system from inside their vehicle. Using Akrapovic technology, drivers can easily switch between the quiet mode and a sportier sound at the push of a button. It doesn’t get more convenient than that. This works through the use of a receiver to drive the actuators that open and close the valves. By doing so, drivers can use the Sound Remote Controller or the new smartphone app (for iOS and Android) to regulate the valves.
