Seibon Hosts Our Viper Carbon Creation at 2013 SEMA

Although this isn’t our first SEMA rodeo, there is something exciting about seeing a project car come to together for thousands to see. SEMA is the place where car dreams, become a reality! The dopest mods and latest product creations are all revealed, for people from around the world to see. When we were trying to decide what car to take to the 2013 SEMA Show in Las Vegas, we wanted to branch out of our normal foreign facade, and get in touch with our American roots. We went the domestic route to show people that, although we specialize in foreign cars, we still got love for the homeland. We are excited to present not one, but two domestic project cars this year at SEMA. In case you’ve been living under a rock; we have our Ford Focus ST and our Dodge Viper SRT. The Focus will be at the Toyo Tires booth and the Viper is on display at the Seibon Carbon booth. We will be posting Focus pictures later in the day, but this blog is all about the first look at our Viper!

The Viper is the perfect marriage of heart, history and new age technology. The issue with Viper’s in the past has been that they don’t embrace modern technology. They are excessively heavy, bulky and still trying to relish the past. The latest SRT (Street Racing Technology) breaks the molds of all those concerns. No only is the body made exceptionally lighter but the technology within the car, is made to cater to the driver, not the other way around. Although the car is made lighter through carbon fiber and aluminum features, there was still room for improvement, not only in weight, but aesthetically as well.

We worked with Seibon to make some awesome carbon elements. The most talked about addition was the carbon fiber hood. We left it in it’s raw carbon form for the first pre-SEMA photoshoot to show the full extent of the modification. Other accents that Seibon created was a  front lip, front canards, rear diffuser, side skirt, and rear wing spoiler. Agency Power designed a custom cold air intake system and will be producing more performance enhancing modifications after SEMA. To see what Agency Power has in mind, click HERE. To finish it all off we went with a wheel that turns heads, no matter what car they’re on. Niche Vicenza wheels are a 20×10.5 in the front and a 21×12.5 in the rear. The 1 piece monoblock forged construction still retains a lightweight function and the root beer finish makes them the perfect touch of sex on the already irresistible white body.

Here’s our first look at the vicious reptile on display in the Seibon booth. Follow all our SEMA debauchery HERE.

3 Things Your Subaru can"t Live without

When you think of a tuner car or a rally car, more than likely the name Subaru pops into your head. Subaru has been a key company in the tuner evolution since the late 80′s. Subaru has continued to improve the handling, aerodynamics and horsepower of their staple WRX, since it was first released in 1992. All these improvements are to make your WRX the best on and off road. Whether you’re into off road rally, street or track racing, Subaru has a car for you. Along with improvements that Subaru has made over the years, have also come amazing aftermarket parts to take the, already rad factory car, to the next level. Here are three things we think your Subaru can’t live without.

The first is a Catback exhaust, the second is a cold air intake and the last is a ECU tuner. We sell many versions of catback exhausts but the Agency Power  Catback Exhaust System Titanium Quad Tips for the WRX is going to give you the sound you want. Below is a video of the growl that you’re WRX can gain with a catback.

The cold air intake improves the productivity of the air flow coming in and going out of your car. The colder the air, the more horsepower you’ll get from your car. Your turbo engine will thank you for the cold air intake. Once again we have many types of intakes but we thought we would showcase the Agency Power Carbon Fiber Cold Air Intake. Not only will the performance give you optimum performance but the carbon fiber will give you a look that will set your car apart.

The last product that we think is imperative to having a bad ass WRX is the ECU tuning. The Cobb Tuning AccessPORT ECU tuner is the perfect final touch to your upgrade. Here are some of the features the AccessPORT offers:

  • Improve horsepower, torque, and fuel economy at the touch of a button
  • Display vehicle data such as boost, RPM, temperatures and more while you drive
  • Easy installation, no mechanical or computer skills necessary
  • Connects to your vehicle via the OBD-II port conveniently located under your dash
  •  Exclusive ability to switch between different ;modes; on the fly
  •  Pre-calibrated to maximize performance of stock or modified vehicles
  •  Easy-to-read color display
  •  Update over the Internet to stay up-to-date with the latest features
  •  Read engine trouble codes (DTC) yourself, eliminating trips to the dealership
  •  Not a “piggyback” – once vehicle;s computer has been programmed by the AccessPORT, it can be removed and the settings will stay on your computer.
  •  Not just an “ECU reflash” – AccessPORT features enhancements such as on-the-fly mode switching, data monitors, reading DTCs, performance monitors and more
  •  Can be custom tailored to your vehicle by our extensive network of professional tuners
Do your Subaru a favor and give it the aftermarket parts it deserves.
