HRE Releases Photo Recap from 2013 SEMA

HRE set out to prove a point this year at SEMA. Not only did they have one of the largest and most interactive booths at the show, but it was filled with HRE eye candy. But their booth was only the first frontier. SEMA was riddled with HRE wheels, you find them on a ton of different make and models. You saw them on everything from foreign to domestic, to new and old cars. They have wheels for cars with the daring, more unconventional style, and wheels for those who rock the more traditional look. No matter what your style is, HRE’s got you covered.

Yesterday they released a gang of photos from SEMA. We looked through them and grabbed all the pictures we thought proved our point. The pictures below are just a sample of all the pictures we have, check out all our pictures from SEMA HERE. Check out HRE’s Wheels selection HERE. Shop all HRE’s HERE. We want to know what you think of the selection do they not have something for everyone? Or tell us what you think is the best pairing? You can tell us in the comment section below, or on Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram.

Seibon Hosts Our Viper Carbon Creation at 2013 SEMA

Although this isn’t our first SEMA rodeo, there is something exciting about seeing a project car come to together for thousands to see. SEMA is the place where car dreams, become a reality! The dopest mods and latest product creations are all revealed, for people from around the world to see. When we were trying to decide what car to take to the 2013 SEMA Show in Las Vegas, we wanted to branch out of our normal foreign facade, and get in touch with our American roots. We went the domestic route to show people that, although we specialize in foreign cars, we still got love for the homeland. We are excited to present not one, but two domestic project cars this year at SEMA. In case you’ve been living under a rock; we have our Ford Focus ST and our Dodge Viper SRT. The Focus will be at the Toyo Tires booth and the Viper is on display at the Seibon Carbon booth. We will be posting Focus pictures later in the day, but this blog is all about the first look at our Viper!

The Viper is the perfect marriage of heart, history and new age technology. The issue with Viper’s in the past has been that they don’t embrace modern technology. They are excessively heavy, bulky and still trying to relish the past. The latest SRT (Street Racing Technology) breaks the molds of all those concerns. No only is the body made exceptionally lighter but the technology within the car, is made to cater to the driver, not the other way around. Although the car is made lighter through carbon fiber and aluminum features, there was still room for improvement, not only in weight, but aesthetically as well.

We worked with Seibon to make some awesome carbon elements. The most talked about addition was the carbon fiber hood. We left it in it’s raw carbon form for the first pre-SEMA photoshoot to show the full extent of the modification. Other accents that Seibon created was a  front lip, front canards, rear diffuser, side skirt, and rear wing spoiler. Agency Power designed a custom cold air intake system and will be producing more performance enhancing modifications after SEMA. To see what Agency Power has in mind, click HERE. To finish it all off we went with a wheel that turns heads, no matter what car they’re on. Niche Vicenza wheels are a 20×10.5 in the front and a 21×12.5 in the rear. The 1 piece monoblock forged construction still retains a lightweight function and the root beer finish makes them the perfect touch of sex on the already irresistible white body.

Here’s our first look at the vicious reptile on display in the Seibon booth. Follow all our SEMA debauchery HERE.

APR to Debut Mustang Wide Body Kit at SEMA

With SEMA right around the corner, we are excited to hear about upcoming booth collaborations. We’ve featured Project Cars in booth like Seibon, Vossen, and Ksport, to name a few. SEMA is the place to debut products and show off the most, slammed and modded cars with the finest products available. We are excited to announce the debut of APR and ProCharger teaming up. APR is debuting their new Mustang Widebody Kit at SEMA in the ProCharger Booth. American Muscle isn’t our specialty, but you have to give credit where credit is due, and this thing is BAD! If you’re into bulking up your muscle car, this is the way to go. Below is a picture they leaked of the debut. We are excited to see it in person in a few weeks.

We want to know who’s going to SEMA, comment in the section below if you’re going and tell us what vendors you’re excited to see.

Artisan Spirit to Debut Lexus LFA 10 at SEMA

To say that the LFA is the best supercar Lexus has created is an understatement. They went above and beyond on every aspect of this car. A few key notes that stood out is the fact they built their own CFRP (carbon fiber reinforced plastic) loom to make the car lighter and stronger. The loom itself is 3D and as it is making the carbon fiber parts or accessories they come out in a three dimensional way so it’s easier to pour the resin in. There is really no need for cast the molds because of this technologically advanced loom. The other notable piece of the LFA is the sound. Here at Vivid, the sound of the car is just as  important as what kind of car it is! Lexus took their sound to the next level by working with Yamaha acoustics. Their collaboration not only gave the car the ability to be deafening, but the sound the car creates is more audibly pleasing then your average exhaust. The results are incredible.

If you’re lucky enough to own one of these baby’s, then we have even better news for you! Artisan Spirit is going to debut their first Lexus LFA body kit at SEMA, and this thing is no joke! It takes the already aggressive, futuristic shape, and molds it into something of an alien vessel. The lines are so smooth, but accents are so fierce, that this thing might literally break necks driving around.

If you’re looking for the ultimate supercar package, email sean@vividracing.com, he’ll be able to take care of you. Artisan Spirit ships directly from Japan, so you know you’re getting the most genuine of parts. If you’re ballin’ on a budget, and want the look of an LFA. DAMD came out with a sweet aero kit that transforms your FR-S or BR-Z into a eerily similar looking LFA. Email sales@vividracing.com if you’re interested in this kit.

We can’t wait to see this beast live at SEMA! But until then, here are some preview pics, courtesy of Artisan Spirit.
