The German company named Moshammer is one of the best that produces composite aerodynamic parts for your vehicle. Moshammer Rear Diffuser
The rear diffuser for Porsche is a brilliant upgrade. Â Its composite design is made to truly be functionaly and stylish. The rear strakes on the diffuser help keep the air flow laminar, while the vent reduces drag from the rear bumper acting as a parachute. It is a full replacement piece that fits to the bottom of the stock bumper. It retains the factory exhaust surrounds or can use aftermarket ones that are available.
Moshammer Rear Wing
The patented mounting rear add-on spoiler system allows you to retain the factory hydraulic action of the spoiler without cutting, drilling, or altering your stock spoiler. The design of the rear spoiler lip mounts in about 10 minutes and gives the small rear spoiler the extra definition that should have come from the factory. It does not impair the rear view and adds aerodynamic functionality.

On the quest to become the 13th driver to finish in less than 10 minutes and break his personal record, Jeff Zwart races his 800 horsepower Porsche 911 GT3 Turbo Cup up the 12.42 mile Pikes Peak International Hill Climb course.
The Pike Peak International Hill Climb is the second oldest auto race in the United States. It consists of 156 turns that stretch out over a distance of 12.42 miles ending at the 14110 foot summit of Pikes. This race isn’t for the inexperienced or the faint of heart! We got a first hand look at the new Advan and Volk Racing wheels that will be coming this upcoming 2016. These new wheels include the exciting Advan GT that is for the first time available in centerlock for the Porsche 991. Volk Racing also added a few new wheels such as the G50, G27 and TE37 V.

Vivid Racing participated in this past weekends Omega Motorsports Half Mile Race at the Gila Bend air strip in super amazing Gila Bend, Arizona :)  This type of event is new to us.  Years ago it was all about road racing.  Then we did a couple of the Texas Mile races in our 997 Turbo.  Within the last couple years, these half mile events have become all the rage.  I guess it makes sense as it shows your cars real potential compared to a quarter mile, safer (maybe) than running a full mile, and well, who does not want to go 150mph plus!  Enjoy the videos, check out the full gallery here, and keep it locked on our Instagram Page Here.  Thanks to Omega Motorsports for the event and the VR Team for going out there!
So Vivid Racing and Agency Power sponsored the event and headed out Saturday for the event in our new pimp bus. Â As a sponsor we brought out our whole kit and kaboodle. Â In addition we had our McLaren 12C on hand to run, get some cool video, and be a piece of eye candy. Â Amongst the cars participating were a new Lamborghini Huracan, Mercedes SLS, a slew of Corvettes, a herd of GT-Rs, a Viper here and there, and a couple of Porsche’s. Â One of the Porsche’s was our very own Project 991 Turbo in the hands of its new owners. Â Equipped with some brand new Agency Power straight pipes and a fresh dyno session with VR Tuned and AP parts, we were ready to see what these cars could do.
The format of the event was really just to have fun, which I thoroughly liked. Â No trophies, no dick swinging, just enthusiasts out to run their cars. Â You line up in 2 lines and go against whoever or you can arrange your runs. Â The Gila Bend airstrip is about 1 full mile. Â When you come to the start, you stare down at a length of pavement that has a mirage effect. Â Lining up, you and the other car do a roll between 40 and 60mph to the first set of cones a hundred or so feet away. Â When you hit those cones, you punch it and it is a half mile of throttle and gears till you reach the other cones that traps your speeds. Â With only a helmet on, the what ifs can race through your head. Â I mean this is not 0-60mph or maybe trapping the 1/4 mile in at 120mph, this is pure speed where some cars are hitting up to 180mph in just a half mile!
The first run of our McLaren was against a black Corvette Z06. Â The McLaren is all stock except a turboback, catless ArmyTrix exhaust and a new VR Tuned ECU flash putting it at about 700bhp. Â The Corvette already having 7.0L of pure American Muscle is intimidating. Â Rolling to the cones we both punched it. Â The Vette got the initial lead, but the 3.8L twin turbo McLaren pulled it midrange and barely beat it at the end. Â I think this first run was about 151mph.
After a short break, I landed a race with the 991 Turbo. Â Equipped well and at about 650bhp and also a 3.8L twin turbo, I thought this would be a equal race if any. Â We both started from a roll at about 40mph and punched it. Â The 991 Turbo is fast as shit! Â His top speed for the day was 159mph which is strong. Â The car sounded insane with the straight pipes as it roared down the runway. Â On a positive note, this was my old car so cant complain :).
Next race I ran involved a blonde chick and 155mph against a ACR Viper. Â The ACR Viper was the Gen 5 premium Viper with its 8.4L V10 making 600bhp and 560ft/lbs of torque. Â This would be a good match up. Â Like the other big displacement cars, this thing got the jump. Â But we fought and rocketed ahead. Â I think the McLaren’s high rev range and top end is what helps it pull away each time.
We lined up again and this time was against a Ford Mustang Boss 302 with mods. Â This car produces stock 444bhp and I am sure this was modded to atleast 500bhp. Â Looking back at the video, not sure if this guy missed a shift, but he had some torque at first but we left him rather quickly.
The final run was a little bit of shop rivalry with EVOMS. Â We scheduled a battle of the McLaren’s and lined up for the race. Â Already knowing we would lose as their car had upgraded turbos and running race gas, we went at it for good fun. Â After the run, threw them the thumbs up and got to see what the difference of turbo upgrades would do. Â I believe their speed was a 169mph compared to our 155mph ish.
Our Porsche 991 Turbo is coming along nicely with many new modifications and accent work. Â With the new Niche Wheels, Pirelli Tires, and H&R lowering springs, we got our prototype 991 Turbo roll bar completed, powdercoated, and installed. Â The bolt in roll bar is designed to allow you to run racing harnesses for track days and help stiffen up the chassis. Â The bar is built in 6 pieces to allow for easy installation. Â It consists of the roof hoop, B pillar legs, rear seat legs, and harness bar. Â These are available on our site here for ordering in a variety of colors.
In addition to the above mods, we also got our tail in gear working on some aesthetic pieces with our in-house carbon fiber shop. Â Working with our Project Car and developing new products on it is time consuming. Â Using foam to sculpt our designs, we then made several changes to come up with our carbon fiber diffuser. Â The rear diffuser is very aggressive but still flows with the vehicles lines. Â As a add-on rear piece, it fits nicely over the gray plastic with simple 3M tape. Â All carbon fiber, it has a 1×1 weave with a glossy clear coat. Â These are in production right now. Â Ready for sale however is our carbon fiber OEM intercooler ducts and mirror caps. Â These help tie in the rest of the carbon fiber in and out on the 991 Turbo. Â The mirror caps are a nice add on that wraps around the mirror exposing some paint color for a subtle contrast. Â You can find these here on our site. Â The ducts are OEM that have been overlayed with carbon fiber. Â We take the stock black ABS plastic ones and use 1×1 carbon weave with a glossy clear coat to make these rear fender pieces pop nicely.

Fresh from picking up our new Porsche 991 Turbo, we ran across this Z06 on the highway. Cruising at around 70mph we threw down. You can see the PDK is no match, but when that 7.0L engine of the Z06 kicks in, it was gone. We did let off at around 120-130mph. We stopped up ahead and the owner told us he had a big cam, exhaust, intake, and ECU tune. Time to get modding!
