Ferrari 488 GTB Shoots Fire with Capristo

Capristo has equipped this EDO Competition Ferrari 488 GTB with their new exhaust and test pipes making it a fire shooting machine.  The successor to the Ferrari 458, the 488 GTB features a twin turbocharged V8 engine that puts out 661 horsepower at 8000 rpm.  Like most turbo vehicles, even this Ferrari can make crazy horsepower with the addition of some mods and tuning.  Unlike previous Ferrari’s such as the 458 and 430, ECU Tuning would maybe gain you around 20-30 horsepower where this new twin turbo platform can gain almost 100 horsepower as seen on our Tuning Box Kit.  The Capristo exhaust is a perfect match for the 488 GTB.  With a long history in Ferrari exhaust systems, Capristo develops each system in Italy with direct access to the car.  Each exhaust system features high performance exhaust mufflers and optional test pipes with cat or catless.

Super GT Porsche 991 Turbo Exhaust by Meisterschaft

Meisterschaft Exhaust is one of the leading companies for exhaust systems of BMW M Performance and Mercedes AMG cars.  Already having an incredible system for the Porsche Panamera Turbo as we showed off, Meisterschaft has now released their new Super GT exhaust for the Porsche 991 Turbo and Turbo S.  Meisterschaft, meaning Championship in German, produces some incredible exhausts with high attention to detail.  The section welding looks stunning with the high polished finish.  One of the Meisterschaft’s trademarks is the vertical fin in the exhaust tips as they have done here as well.

Meisterschaft tested this 991 Turbo S on their own in-house Mustang Dyno.  With cooler temperatures and 93 octane, they achieved some very respectable stock power figures: 457 horsepower and 454 torque at its four wheels.  These are pretty accurate considering our Project 991 Turbo non S did 440awhp here.  After the dyno was completed, Meisterschaft went into design mode creating the Super GT exhaust.  This system is sporting 4 102mm signature round split tips to give the back end an aggressive and complete new look. The Super GT system replaces the overweight and restrictive OE muffler system with a 76mm high-flow X-Pipe engineered to provide maximum performance.  Optional high flow cat bypass pipes are available.  As tested with the Super GT exhaust for the 991 Turbo S, it had a monstrous torque gain of 57 ft/lbs,  and a horsepower gain of 17 hp all while saving the rear end 21 lbs.  No matter how you skin it, the Meisterschaft Super GT is an all around win.

Check out the video of the exhaust shooting a flame or 2 and the pictures below.  To order this exhaust for your Porsche 991 Turbo or Turbo S, contact a Vivid Racing Performance Specialist at 1.480.966.3040 or email sales@vividracing.com.  You can order all Meisterschaft Exhausts Here.

Another Porsche 991 Turbo Throwin Flames

I love this car and what it can do when you give it a little more juice and airflow.  The Porsche 991 Turbo is probably the ultimate street and performance car.  Yes it is lacking some “supercar” style, but the capabilities are there.  Our very own Agency Power products really make this car move including our titanium exhaust system.  This customer car was doing some dyno testing to show results and decided to give us a nice fire show at the end.  If you are thinking you need to shoot flames as well, all you need is a catless exhaust from the turbos, a little bit of tuning, and a nice blip of the throttle!  Enjoy!
