A great morning here in Arizona with a pack crowd at the Scottsdale cars and coffee. The usual suspects were there with some other super cool cars. DMC Huracan, Ferrari F12, Trophy Truck, Lexus LFA, a crap load of Porsches, and many. Enjoy the photos!
Last month we took our 991 Turbo to cars and coffee in Scottsdale. The car got a lot of attention, so we thought we would make it a “thing”. So for this month, we took her back but with some new additions like the heart-stopping red Niche Wheels. Although our Red-wheeled 991 Turbo was one of the attractions, a lot of attention went to the McLaren P1 that was there. The McLaren P1â„¢ is the ultimate expression of McLaren’s engineering expertise. This hybrid with F1 technology will blow away any preconceived notions you had about a hybrid. If a Formula 1 car and a Prius had a baby, this is what it would be like. The McLaren genes obviously being more dominant. This hybrid is a eco-friendly dream. This thing has 903 horsepower, and can hit 62 mph in less than three seconds, and 186 mph in less than 17 seconds, and runs into an electronic wall at 217 mph. Scottsdale is a prime location for cars and coffee because of the car enthusiasts who are around. So it is a common occurrence to see a Lamborghini or Ferrari, but even the P1 was a treat for everyone there. Every first Saturday of the month we have Arizona’s version of Cars and Coffee located in Scottsdale. Â What use to be a small gathering has turned out to be a large event where starting at 8am just wont get you a parking space! Â Characters and interesting cars alike turn out to show off and observe with other automotive enthusiasts. Â Everything from Lamborghini’s, Porsche’s, Ferrari’s, and the occasional rarity like this Alfa Romero Zagato. Â Street cars and even towed in race cars have showed off. Â We hoofed it up there bright and early to park our Project Porsche 991 Turbo and Panamera Turbo.
