APR Performance Carbon Fiber Toys for the 2015 Mustang

The 2015 Ford Mustang has really been a game changer in the tuner world.  Whether you go with the 5.0L V8 or the very popular turbocharged EcoBoost, the new styling and performance is on point.  APR Performance has been developing carbon fiber accessories and aero parts for over a decade.  Their most popular products is their track proven GTC aero wings.  Since our Subaru days in the early 2000’s, APR has made some nice carbon fiber accessories like license plate covers, engine covers, radiator shrouds, and mirrors.  Now for the 2015 Mustang, they have all new engine covers and radiator cooling plates available.  The APR carbon fiber plenum cover does not come with the 5.0 emblem but the customer can reuse the factory one.  The new carbon radiator cooling plate works with the factory hood prop.  These are a couple great and simple upgrades for the 2015 Ford Mustang.

Carbon Fiber Embelished FRS with Candy Teal Avant Garde Wheels

Although this color didn’t work out for our Red Ford Focus ST, but this color is fierce and we are pumped someone’s rockin’ it. Even better than the sexy candy teal wheels, is a woman who can mod a car. This she-tuner has a stellar FRS, with a mod list to be envied. She is our sales guy Arsha’s (arsha@vividracing.com, ext. 225), FRS customer. She’s been modding her car for a while and all the hard work is finally paying off.  Since her build has been done, she’s been featured by Avant Garde, Extreme Dimension and APR. She also took home the Best Female Ride at Battle of the Bay in August.

Lotus Exige Sheds Seconds off Track Time

The Lotus Exige is by far one of the coolest looking supercars around. It has that futuristic, edgy architecture, that takes your breath away when you see one on the road. This customer wow’s the fans on the track with this beautifully designed Lotus Exige. When he wanted to improve his track time and overall performance, he knew aftermarket is the only way to go. Our sales guy Sean (sean@vividracing.com ext. 226) hooked him up with APR Performance Lightweight Canards and a APR Performance Adjustable Wing. We’ve seen various exotic race cars around the world use the APR Carbon Fiber wing, but here is what our client had to say about the product,

“Car looks amazing – love all of the CF and it felt much more stable at the track. I put down my best time, 2 weeks ago, when I went for the first time this season, better by .8 seconds – which is considerable because I’m pushing it a lot. Felt much more stable in fast sweeper corners like turn 10.”

As this customer, and any other race car aficionado knows, every second counts. The APR carbon fiber wing offers that stability by reducing lift and increasing downforce, in turn giving you extra traction during high speed cornering.  The wing allows you to adjust it and choose your personal preference for car control. By adjusting the angle of attack on an adjustable wing, you can dial in the amount of downforce for better car control. The APR Front Bumper Canards help increase front downforce at high speeds.
