VRTuned has just added a bunch of new ECU Tuning applications to our line up for several of the latest 2013 and newer turbo or supercharged vehicles.  This includes cars like the new Mercedes C63 4.0L Bi-Turbo, the Jaguar F-Type 5.0L Supercharged V8, McLaren MP4-12C, Audi RS6 4.0L Turbo, Mini Cooper S F56 2.0L Turbo, Range Rover Sport, and more.

So how do we have these tunes and just rated power numbers?  Easily!  VRTuned is made up of 2 parts which allows us to offer a wide range of tuning products.  We have an ECU calibrator partner who does our files and we have a hardware supplier that allows us to read and write the information in a safe and accurate manner.  Our ECU Tuning partner has been modifying ECU’s for 15 years.  With Vivid Racing alone, we have done cars from all types of environments, octane, and all over the world.  With most tunes, we are able to remove the speed limiter, do a race file for catless exhausts, raise the rev limiter, and of course the performance tune.

Here at Vivid Racing we have proven many of these files on our own Mustang Dyno.  With over $50,000 invested in ECU read and write hardware, we have the tools to connect to even the latest ECU’s.  Some of these require the car’s ECU to be bench flashed, while others can be done via the OBDII port.  For those not wanting to remove their ECU and worry about warranty, make sure to check out our VR Tuned Tuning Box Kits.  These plug and play kits delivery almost the same performance as an ECU flash and can be easily removed.
