Charge Speed New Nissan GTR Front Bumper Yay or Nay?

Charge Speed of Japan is iconic in their aerokit components.  Designing and building a upgrade look for a vehicle is no easy task.  Creating the design whether it is done via clay modeling, CAD design, or just building off the car takes time.  Now when you cover 100’s of vehicle platforms and produce nice quality parts, that is some serious skill.  The Nissan GT-R has become a cult machine even years before we all came to love the R34 Skyline in the first Fast and Furious movie.  Since the GT-R, aka Skyline, aka R35, aka Godzilla, came to the states in 2009, it has been one insane competition for tuners and retailers to keep customers wanting more.  With no shortage of performance parts available, the aero kit program is equally competitive.

Charge Speed has always produced really nice parts.  Most of the parts are FRP (fiberglass) or FRP with carbon fiber inlays.  We have played with Charge Speed parts on our Project Subaru WRX III, Project Nissan 240SX, and a handful of other customer rides.  Their brand new full bumper that has been released for the Nissan GT-R consists of 2 pieces with FRP for the main structure and then a carbon lip spoiler.  These bumpers come unpainted directly from Japan.  All factory equipment such as sensors and lights fit in place.  Based on experience, test fitting is always good before installation.  On a scale of 1-10 we would give the fit and finish a 9.  Once painted, the entire bumper installation might take about 3 hours.  With the bumper completed, you have 1 amazing looking Nissan GT-R courtesy of Charge Speed.  Check out the new product photos below.
