Agency Power Releases New Steel Braided Brake Lines for Scion FRS Subaru BRZ

Agency Power now has these DOT approved steel braided brake lines available for the Scion FR-S and Subaru BR-Z.  The steel braided brake lines are available for both the front and rear applications of the vehicles.  The factory lines, which are rubber, expand under hard braking pressure giving you a soft pedal response.  The Agency Power lines are teflon lined with a steel braided covering and finally a red gel coat finish to give you long term use.  Since they do not expand, they give you an improved pedal response.  Brake lines are sold as a pair of front or rear.  Lines are a direct replacement for the OEM lines including the fittings.

Rainy Day Hoonage at Vivid Racing with Scion FRS and Noble M400

It was a nasty rainy day last Wednesday Feb 20, 2013 where some of the Arizona valley even got snow. So what better then to empty the back of Vivid Racing and do some backyard donuts!  We picked up this Noble M400 a week or so ago for fun.  Having always wanted one since the 2004 Gumball 3000 rally, an opportunity came up and we scored this 2006 M400.  The V6 twin turbo mid engine car is a beast.  Extremely lightweight, the basic interior and sexy body lines grabs attention but has the performance to back it up.  In addition to messing around with the Noble, one of our customers and his Scion FR-S came to play too.  Its no DC video, but hey, sharing is caring!  Enjoy…

Enkei PF01s Wheels Beautiful Addition to Subaru Legacy

One of our customers in Australia recently got his Subaru Legacy hooked up from Performance Specialist Blane with a fresh set of Enkei PF01s wheels.  The white Legacy sitting in front of the harbor looks great with its simple upgrade of the 17×8 inch wheels.  With a very safe 45mm offset for the Subaru, there is no issues with the daily driving on roads of all types.  Check out the customer review below and view all Enkei Wheels Here.

 

Got the wheels few days ago and fitted them yesterday. Wish I got 18” tires few months ago but I’m very pleased how they fit the car. Don’t want to lower my car either because our twisty coastal roads can be bumpy and shocks are often bottoming out.

Project Ford Focus ST Debuts at Vivid Racing

What started nearly 12 years ago with a Subaru WRX has evolved in a way we could never imagine.  Following the bell curve of cars as our business grew, we have been fortunate to work on and drive many cars that could be included in others “dream car’ category.  But we came to the point where we realized, “How many Millenium Falcon exhausts will we really sell.”  So with the recent success of our Scion FR-S project, we decided to focus on another tuner type car like how the Subaru WRX launched Vivid Racing.  A Project Car should be a vehicle that is a pure expression of our business.  This car is to be used for marketing and R&D while establishing a rock star like following.  Utilizing our in-house fabrication facility, CNC machine shop, dyno, and a decade of experience, we are proud to announce our newest Project Car – 2013 Ford Focus ST.

Why a Ford?  Well if you have not sat in one of these yet, then you will see this ain’t your Grandpa’s F150.  On it’s 3rd generation, the Focus has for years had huge popularity in Europe from its Rally background.  With the hard drive forward of extreme athletes racing Ford vehicles in rally, drift, rallycross as well as a hand full of viral videos, the Ford brand has reached the attention of the tuner market.  The seperation of domestic and foreign tuners/drivers has been broken down with this latest vehicle.  It probably helps that this EcoBoost Ford Focus ST has a 252 horsepower and 270 ft/lbs of torque.  The EcoBoost technology is designed to deliver power and torque consistent with larger engine displacement naturally aspirated engines while achieving approximately 20% better fuel efficiency and 15% reduced greenhouse emissions than these same engines.

Being turbocharged, this makes a perfect platform for a tuner vehicle.  It has the perfect combination of price, power, and styling.  The interior features super comfortable Recaro branded seats with strong bolsters.  Plenty of room in the rear seats for passengers and a boot lid to take your groceries home or haul your track wheels.  Its has more electronics going on then a space shuttle.  The Microsoft SYNC feature is unique and if you are taking a hard corner and want to call a friend, just grab the SYNC paddle on the wheel!  The shifting is smooth and tight and all the trim makes you feel like you are in a car that deserves more than the $30k price tag.

So Vintage - HRE Wheels 505 in Full Bronze Armor

We did leak a picture of these a while back but wanted to show off more angles of these amazing HRE Vintage 505 wheels.  These babies are going on a custom wide body Ferrari 308.  Can you say mustache, Hawaiian shirt, and bourbon?!?  The Vintage series was released by HRE in 2012 to really stir up the wheel industry with a new look and feel for the ever so whored out wheel market.  As innovators, HRE capitalized on the stance and old school market with the release of these Vintage style wheels.  With influence from older OEM style wheels, the Vintage series looks surprisingly good on almost any vehicle we have seen them on.  This particular set has been done completely in a bronze finish including both inner and outer lips.  The front wheel is a 18×8.5 and the rear is a 18×11.5.  Check out more HRE Vintage Wheels Here.

Steal My Enkei Wheels, No Problem, Buy New Ones!

If you find a product you like, and something happens to it, then you buy it again.  In this case, that product is a set of Enkei Wheels.  This customers Lexus IS300 use to have a set of Enkei RPF1‘s until someone stole them leaving his car on blocks.  So because of the great quality and style Enkei brings to the table, he decided to go back to them.  This time going with the Enkei Raijin in a 19×8 +45mm in the front and a 19×8.5 +35mm in the rear.  The wheels were wrapped with a set of Falken FK 452 tires in a 225/35-19 and a 235/35-19.  Securing those wheels in place is a set of the new Agency Power Lug Nuts 12×1.50 closed end.

Aston Martin with Larini Exhaust Brings Back the Ladies

This was probably one of the best reviews I have seen about a product.  This customer got his Aston Martin Vanquish geared up from Sales Team Member Ahmed.  To give it the exotic sound that the Vanquish deserved, he equipped the car with a set of Larini center pipes, mufflers, and tips.  With this, the V12 turns into a F1 screamer taking the gentlemen’s car to a playboy’s ride.  We have some pics of the Aston below, but the quote is priceless!

“Thanks for the exhaust it sounds bad! My oldest son told me this car is a panty dropper! [ He is 28 years old. ]  He put it on Face Book and girls that have not talked to him in a long time where talking to him.  I asked him what is this thing called Face Book.”

Nissan GT-R with HRE Wheels About to Hit 1 Lap of America

One of our customers from the GTRLife forum connected with Josh in our Sales Team to hook up his Nissan GT-R with a fresh set of HRE Wheels.  This sleek looking white GT-R is about to go on the 1 Lap of America event.  FYI, so is the guy who bought our white Porsche Turbo S!  The 1 Lap is a no BS rally event.  You wont be able to party because as you are driving from stop to stop, their is one thing different… the race tracks!  1 Lap of America is about going from location to location to race a different track and you have to drive your car.  You only get 2 sets of tires and the space you have to take things in your vehicle.  This really proves how well built a car is and the skill of the driver.
